No One's POV.
Staysha alleged it was pretty strange at how she was going to be attending a ball filled with criminals or former criminals. It was just really unordinary. She thought long and hard about why she agreed to attend with Justin, as his date...
Justin distinguished her anxiety as she was sitting on the edge of the bed, fiddling with her fingers, "Are you scared to go with me?" Justin asked. She hadn't realized he was already awake because she woke up earlier than him and he was still asleep. She was taken aback at how he knew what she was feeling.
She shook her head though, "It's not that I'm scared to go with you..." She said. "I'm just scared to go in general."
Justin knew why after she had finished her sentence. "Look, if you're not comfortable then I can find someone else to go with." He sighed.
"I don't know, I don't want to seem like I'm such a wimp. I'm not trying to judge you, but those people seem to be intimidating." Staysha said. "Well, how Riley always makes them out to be."
"Don't listen to Riley and the others, they're just trying to make you more nervous than you should be. The ball is like a reunification. You interact and dance with people. Nothing to be intimidated by. Yeah, there are some rich and snobby people but they keep their thoughts to themselves, most just have nothing but good to say." Justin explained. Staysha nodded now feeling a little more persuaded. "If anything, I'll stay by your side the whole time." Justin assured.
She thought for a brief moment, before nodding, "Alright then."
"I think we should get ready and buy go your dress today," Justin proposed. Staysha groaned.
"Do I have to go shopping? Like can't I do it online?" Staysha inquired.
"You can do that?" Justin questioned. Staysha just nodded. "Well, shit. Go right ahead then, just let me know when I have to pay. Let me go get my laptop." Justin said.
Justin got up heading out of bed and to his office retrieving a brand new laptop he never really uses because of his desktop on his desk. He walked back handing Staysha the laptop. She opened it and signed in to a new account Justin has told her to make. She started scrolling through online dresses, and saw nothing she liked.
"You find anything yet?" Justin asked.
"No..." She said. "What are you wearing?" She asked.
"Just match something along the lines of gold and black," Justin said. She was taken back at the fact that he wanted to match with her but it would only make sense to. She nodded.
"What's the brand of your... suit?" She asked.
"It's specially hand-made but it's kind of Versace looking..." Justin said.
"Versace?!" She exclaimed. "That is like..."
"I know," Justin interjected with a slight laugh.
Staysha decided to look up some Versace dresses but gave up before just looking at some random yet very lavish gowns. Justin had laid next to her and watched as she scrolled through the dresses. "That one." Justin pointed out. Staysha stopped scrolling to see where Justin's finger was at and looked to see he saw PETRA White Embellished Fishtail Jersey Maxi Dress.
"It's so beautiful," She inhaled, amazed.
Justin nodded, "I'll be right back." He said.
She nodded, admiring the dress even more. Justin had looked at her before walking out and grabbing his wallet out of his room and taking out his black card. He walked back into the room before heading over to Staysha and grabbing the laptop from her.
