No One's POV.
It has been a week since the explosion and since then Eric had informed Justin that it was The Vipers who had sent an apprentice to do their dirty work.
Justin knew his name was Benedetto "Ben" Falasco. He had blasted the Diner and was now on the run. Eric was going to get into the server to hack into the security cameras on the idyllic whereabouts where he may be staking out.
But, since then, Staysha had mended a little over time with her eye and arms. Justin has been keeping close watch on her and neither of them barely left the house. With that, they started talking more with each other and starting to get somewhat along. They spent most of the week watching movies, eating out, or even having sex. Throughout that he made sure to be vigilant with her, mainly her arms.
As of now, Justin and Staysha were rested on the couch, keeping an insignificant expanse of distance from each other.
The boys were out, some dealing with their girls and some just out. Eric stayed back though. Staysha and Justin were watching re-runs of the House of Cards. Justin felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, receiving a text from Gunnar.
We just ID'd a location with RD @ ALCA by 7. Meet us there.
Justin replied saying that he was about to leave before standing up. Staysha looked at him confused.
"I need to leave somewhere for a few and I trust you'll comply with my orders as I had entreated a while ago?" Justin asked firmly. Staysha nodded. "Alright, go see what Eric is doing in the Tech room to keep you engaged until I get back. If you feel like it you can head up and wait in my room, and my room only." Justin said, austerely. She nodded standing up as well and dropping the blanket that had rested around her onto the cushion of the couch.
Justin nodded a goodbye before taking himself down the long flight of stairs and into the basement, letting Staysha take the elevator on her way to the third floor. Eric had noticed her and opened the door.
"Is it okay if I come in here and bother you for a bit?" She asked.
"No, of course. I don't mind at all." He insisted. He pulled out his pivot chair for her and let her observe all the technology in front of him.
"Wow, so this is where it all goes down?" She asked.
He nodded, "This is where all the tracking, the hacking and the scheming goes down." He told her.
"This is what you do for them?" Staysha asked again, Eric just nodded.
"Yup, this is what I do for them." Eric informed.
Staysha was silent for a while, gently skimming her finger over all the buttons and controls, careful not to press anything that may ruin something.
"Have you ever killed someone like they have, since you're part of their... gang?" She asked.
Eric had swallowed his saliva loudly, but nodded. "Three times, I've killed three people since the five years I've attended this gang." He admitted. "All under self-defense. While I was being attacked it was the only thing I could do." He added on.
"Oh," Was all Staysha could say. Eric just nodded.
"Don't get me wrong, I loathe any sort of weapon, especially when I'm the one that has to use it." He said. "This is why I enjoy staying in my little tech room to help out the gang."
"I'd say you're one of the most important people out of the whole crew." Staysha assured.
He let out a little smile, He shook his head.
