Nezuko had always cherished the quiet moments she shared with Muichiro as she was still a demon. Their connection had grown strong in the days leading up to the final battle against Muzan. One day, as she sat by Muichiro's bedside in the infirmary, she couldn't help but let her thoughts wander. Her heart ached with unspoken emotions.
Tanjiro noticed her distant expression and asked, "Nezuko, what's on your mind?"
Nezuko hesitated for a moment before replying, "Oh. It's... nothing."
Tanjiro nodded understandingly. "Well, alright."
Days turned into weeks, and Muichiro finally regained enough strength to return to his own headquarters. In his room, he couldn't shake the feeling that someone had left a lasting impact on him during the battle. He whispered to himself, "Nezuko, you're my guardian angel. I don't know why, but I feel something I've never felt before."
Nezuko, her heart pounding with anticipation, received the news that Muichiro had returned to his headquarters. She couldn't contain her excitement and approached Tanjiro with a request. "Tanjiro, could you take me to see Muichiro? I just... I need to see him."
Tanjiro chuckled softly, not really sure why but he doesn't see why Nezuko couldn't. "Of course, Nezuko. Let's go before Zenitsu starts calling you his wife again."
As they followed the guiding crow to Muichiro's location, Nezuko's thoughts raced. What would she say to him? How would he react? Little did she know that Muichiro was experiencing the same turmoil of emotions, both unaware of the feelings they held for each other.
Tanjirou felt always safe leaving Muichiro with Nezuko alone especially when Nezuko was a demon, the two seemed to get along greatly with one another. They were just silent and mimicked each other movements, it was strange to see them interact and it almost felt like watching two animals interact how they purely used body language but still, Muichiro was trustworthy to have around Nezuko.
In his vast and imposing mansion headquarters, Muichiro was going about his daily routine when he suddenly heard the soft voice of one of the Kakushi. The hooded figure respectfully approached him and spoke, "Master Muichiro, you have visitors."
Muichiro arched an eyebrow, curious about who would come to his isolated domain. "Visitors?" he inquired.
The Kakushi hesitated for a moment before responding, "It's Tanjiro and his sister, Nezuko."
The name hit Muichiro like a lightning bolt, and his heart seemed to skip a beat. Nezuko - he hadn't seen her since she had returned to being human. A mixture of emotions swirled within him. Despite his lack of words, he felt a connection with her like no other.
With a newfound sense of purpose, he nodded to the Kakushi and headed towards the entrance. As he approached, he could see Tanjiro and Nezuko standing there. The siblings wore warm smiles as they greeted Muichiro.
"Hello, Muichiro!" Tanjiro exclaimed cheerfully, his ever-positive demeanor shining through. "We thought we'd drop by to see how you're doing."
Nezuko, standing slightly behind her brother, nodded in agreement, her eyes gleaming with curiosity and perhaps a touch of shyness. She didn't say anything, but her presence spoke volumes.
Muichiro was taken aback by her presence, unable to fully comprehend that Nezuko, the demon he had once watched over, was now here to visit him as a human. He wondered in his inner dialogue, "She came to see me?"
Eventually, he composed himself and replied, "Hello, Tanjiro. I... didn't expect this." He gazed at Nezuko, who was still quiet but seemed genuinely interested in being there.
