Phuwin's POV -

I thought I would just cut Pond off from my life forever . But -

It was both weekend & Dunk's birthday . As it was weekend Dunk was sleeping peacefully as we were up last whole night . I & aunty wished Dunk with a cake at 12 am .

I woke up & got freshen up cuz I was feeling hungry but when I just went downstairs I heard calling bell rang . So I went to open the door . It was Satangwinny .

Winny : Hi , how are you ?

Phuwin : Fine . But what brought you guys here this early morning ?

I replied to Winny's question & asked him another question with confusion.  As they were here without any notice .

Satang : Forget it , and tell us , where is Dunk ?

Satang asked me with excitement , totally ignored my question .

Phuwin : He is still sleeping . Btw come inside .

I said , still confused . But I invited them to come inside the house .

They came & rush to Dunk's & my room by dragging me with them . Then they just drag half sleep Dunk & me into the roof top .

Dunk : *yawn* what happened guys ? Why did you just brought me here ?

Dunk said in a lazy & quite annoying voice . I was just little stunned to talk by all this dragging . But then we heard a familiar voice from our behind -

Pond : Happy birthday to you , happy birthday to you , happy birthday dear Dunk . Happy birthday to you .

A happy Pond sang the birthday song for Dunk while hiding something on his hand that he kept behind him . Seeing Pond , Dunk's annoying face delighted a little bit it turns into shock & happyness as soon as Pond gave Dunk his birthday present .

It was a case full of  beautiful birds .

Dunk : omg . It's so beautiful . Thanks , Pond .

Dunk said taking the case on his hand . I was just admiring everything from a little distance with Satangwinny beside me .

Pond : Now free the birds Dunkie .

Pond said with his bright smile . He is so handsome , my heart skipped a bit . Wtf , Phuwin , what are you saying ?

Dunk : What ! Noo , I will keep them . You gifted me the birds .

Dunk said with a cute pout . Pond softly smile with a nod .

Pond : No , Dunk . I didn't gift you the birds but their freedom . Birds look beautiful & flawless while they fly in the blue sky not captured in a case . So , please free them .

With a pat on Dunk's shoulder Pond said . I kept looking at him in wonder . Is it the same person I knew for all this days . That careless , womaniser , good for nothing person has this self of him too ? I kept looking at him . And came back to sense when everyone was clapping .

Dunk finally released the birds , get them free in the open sky . And all of them were clapping . Dunk was happy, so much happy . He hugged Pond . Pond again gave him bunch of chocolates . Then they went inside of the house .

I decided to wait there for sometime to keep an eye on the birds . It was nice . Pond's face was roaming Infront of my eyes . He is really so handsome . I think I should give him another chance . I was in my thoughts when I heard a voice & came back to reality .

Pond : Everyone is calling you . Aren't you gonna eat ? Let's go .

Pond said with a happy smile . I just nodded and followed him to the dining hall .

"Ok , we will take a leave now . See ya . And Dunk take care of yourself ." Pond said to Dunk while waving his hand as bye .

Satangwinny & Pond was leaving after having the breakfast & some chitchat with Us basically Dunk .

I was keeping my eyes to Pond all this time . Trying to figure out that who is he actually ? But I didn't find a perfect answer yet .

After they left I & Dunk came to the kitchen to wash all the dishes . About aunty she is a little busy talking on her phone . Something important I guess . Dunk was washing the dishes when I was cleaning the dining table . It was a mess .

"Phuwin , why didn't you invite Fourth ? You should've called him . We could have eat together ." Dunk said while washing the dishes .

"I did call him but he didn't pick up the phone . Maybe busy ." I answered while cleaning the table with a wet clothe .

"By the way , you should make up with Pond . The way you were looking at him today .." Dunk said while removing his hand gloves and looking at me teasingly .

"Wh-what are you saying ? I didn't look at him at all . He is a troublemaker ." I said as I suttered a little  . I feel my cheek was burning . Wtf Phuwin .

"Hahaha , Phuwin . It's ok don't need to hide from me . And to be honest he is not that bad guy it's just he pretends to become happy & mischievous to hides his sorrows . You don't know but -" Dunk was cut by aunty .

"Dunk ... Dunk , my son I can't believe . I am so so so happy today ." Aunty said while coming down from the stairs . She looked too happy . Dunk and I share a dumb stare between us as we were clueless .

"What happened mom ? " Dunk asks with a smile to his mom Who were jumping in happiness .

"Dunk , as you promised , if I & your dad let you study arts you gonna listen whatever we will ask to you ." Aunty said holding Dunks arms still smiling . I feel awkward tbh . And I feel Dunk too .

"Yes , I promised you . What is it that I need to do mom ?" Dunk asks with a smile . I was wondering & looking at them . Praying & hoping that Dunk's heart doesn't break .

"Dunk , your dad is coming tomorrow & he said he fixed your marriage . After 1 month it's your marriage my son ." She said shaking Dunk a little whose smile vanished in a moment . I was too shock .

"What ?" I said in shock .

"Phuwin , didn't you hear , we fixed Dunk's marriage . You should be happy for your brother ." Aunty said while looking at me with a bright smile . I don't know what to do  , what to say . And Dunk , he looks so broken rn .

"But aunty -" I was about tell something but Dunk cuts me off .

"Mom , I am going to my room ." Dunk said while going upstairs .

"Dunk , you need to do the marriage, son." Aunty said with a calm & ordering voice .

"Don't worry mom , I will do whatever you gonna say ." A completely broken dunk said without looking back . I was just speechless but decided to follow Dunk . He needs me now .
