Chapter 16: Serial Killer

"We are not tripping with you, Seol. We just wanted to end this once and for all." Venice meddle with our conversation finally. 

She must have observed how frustrated I am with this old man and I refused speaking properly with him. Now's the time to say your business, Venice.

"Yes, you're right Kiara's alive but she's depending on a machine and we don't know when she'll wake up. Apparently, we will catch the psycho who did it to her and--"

"And just like that you will imprisoned him?" Not too exciting. 

She nodded her head slightly. Her aura changed upon mentioning her best friend's name. I see. She's also mourning for her, I thought she's just expert in pretending she wasn't. She would not plan this avenge thing if she doesn't care for Kiara. 

I felt somewhat comforted for Kiara because there are also people who are concerned for her. She didn't do anything wrong but now lying for a life support. 

"You know her parents went into a slump after their business fell short. She was depressed before the incident so I followed her that time on the rooftop but I was too late. Not long after that, I found her killer very close to you, Seol." She stopped on her tracks and stare at me with those cold eyes. 

I have an idea who is she talking about but I wanted to spit it out from her mouth. The fuck I am not some coward backing out from that mere discovery. 

"He's not feeling any remorse at all and even took Kiara for granted. That gay bastard even took you in his house and r*ped you!"

I gaped at her remark and was taken aback. I blinked to process what she just said. R*pe me? Me? R*pe means forcing me to have a sexual intercourse with him and I don't like it. That's what she meant right? What a load of bullshit. 

But if I will say it she will misunderstood me too and will conclude that I am gay or something like that. I am not here to find answer with my sexuality to I just straightened my posture and agreed with her. The old man just cleared his throat and when we faced him I caught his eyes staring into me. 

For no reason, I avoided his eye contact. 

He can't see through me, can he?

Ah, he was a judge and body language is a piece of cake for him. I am an idiot.

But I know he will just conclude things like I was startled how the hell she finds--right! How did she finds out! Before I can ask that the old man interferes.

"The plan is simple, Seol. We must apprehend Felix Vargas two days from now. You will go to his house or whatever suits you as long as we will execute the plan at his house. We will also charge him for rape and attempted murder--"

"What?" I cut him off because the last two words he had said doesn't go well with me. "Did I hear you right, old man? Attempt--"

I was startled when he slammed his table by his closed fist. Venice even shouted at her post and caressed her chest. I glared at the old man for doing that and shut my mouth throughout his explanation. 

Their plan is too simple to say but hard to execute. Did they take me for a robot that can do things easily? 

I feel offended, unfair, and I wanted to express my opinions but on the other hand I would like to take the challenge. 

They will arrest Felix by first me as a scapegoat. Not only that but they will let me have an intimate sexual intercourse with the psycho so that they can add whatever cases they will add to him. At the perfect timing where Felix will attempt on killing me they will appear like some sort of a hero on an old comic book and arrest Felix.
