The day after Michio returned, it was like he never left; life has never been more perfect. With the money he got from Sora, we ended up buying a much bigger house in a much more quiet area as well as a car, specifically a black Pagani Zonda. We even had a backyard pool built in for us whenever we wished to go swimming or soak in.
Ito ended up ending things with his boyfriend which was unfortunate for him but he had other plans for himself down the line according to him.
My brother was still a dickhead as well as his wife. Their son was practically the same and their daughter Aya was still as sweet as ever. She'd sometimes visit us or even stay the night if Oreo got to tag along with her.
My mother was doing pretty well for herself. I helped her land a job as an administrator and she couldn't be happier.
I still wasn't sure who my father was nor was I sure if my mother or anyone was willing to tell me what had happened to him.
And lastly, I didn't have to worry about Chyio or anyone coming after me out of jealousy or envy. That was such a relieving thought.
Despite that flaw, my future with Michio was bright; I had zero doubts. Life was peace, just like I wanted it to be.
