Chapter 5: Shoto

   When I got to work, I was welcomed by Ms. Joke, Ms. Chiyo, and Vlad King. "Hey, you guys!" I answered with a smile. I walked for a few more minutes before reaching my classroom. "Good Morning, class!" I exclaimed after taking in a big breath and opening the door. "Good Morning, Ms. Takami!" The entire class replied. "I see you've been working on your greetings, well done!" I praised them, setting my bag right next to the teacher's desk.

   "It was all thanks to Deku and Iida!" Ochaco shouted. "Well, thank you for that Midoriya and Iida." I smiled towards the two. "You're very welcome, Takami-sensei!" Iida boasted, standing up and doing his stiff little choppy thing. "Uh, y-yeah! What Iida said!" Izuku replied and I giggled. "How is everyone doing today?" I asked looking around the class.

   "We'll start with Kure, and go along from there." I spoke.

"I'm doing good! How are you, Ms. T?" She asked. "I'm good, thanks Kure."

"I'm fine," Shoji spoke.

"I'm fine," Ojiro continued.

"I am doing absolutely wonderful as always, mon cherie!" Yuga announced.

"Not gonna lie, but I'm pretty tired, teach." Mina spoke, slouching in her chair. "Sorry to hear that, Mina. Hope that get's better." I said, before pointing to Kaminari.

"I think I need a doctor," He sighed dramatically. "What for, kid?" I cocked my head to the side. "Because," he paused dramatically. "My heart has been... STOLEN!" I rolled my eyes. "On top of that I need the authorities! I must send you to jail for stealing my heart!" He exclaimed, standing up, covering his eyes with his left arm and pointing at me with his other hand. "Sit down, Kaminari." I ordered.

"I was fine, until Kaminari spoke." Jirou shrugged. 'I know how you feel, kid' I sighed heavily before pointing to Bakugo.

"I'm bored as hell, and this class ain't makin' it any better!" He groaned, placing his feet on the desk. I shot him 'the look' and he put them down immediately, murmuring to himself. "Well, get through it, Bakugo." I suggested, pointing to Izuku.

"I-I'm good. A little tired," He muttered. "But good!" He shot out.

"I'm good." Sero spoke.

*I'm gonna put a time skip here. Just so you know, everyone's fine, Mineta's still a perv, and Shoto's still emo.*

   Just as Uraraka finished up, Aizawa hopped inside the classroom, wearing his sleeping bag. Sure we've already been in school for a few weeks, and I've known Shota for a long while now, it still catches me by surprise, along with the rest of the class. "What are you staring at?" He muttered, staring at the class. "Nothing!" The entire class replied and he layed on the floor before rising up like zombies in a horror movie.

   "Since it's almost Halloween, we'll have a Horror-themed lesson today." He spoke and I sat down in my seat. The students were all murmuring amongst each other happily at the sound of Halloween while Koda squirmed in the back. I walked towards him as Shota continued the lesson. "Hey, are you ok, Koda?" I asked crouching down to my knees.

   He shook his head yes, but I knew that it wasn't true. "Come with me, sweetheart." I suggested. He followed me out the back door of the classroom and I turned to him as we exited. "Are you sure you're ok with a Horror-themed lesson, Koda?" I asked him. "y-yeah, i'm sure. i don't wanna ruin everyone else's time." He whispered. "Koda, you expressing that you don't like something is fine. Look, just for today, you can hang out with me and we'll do something fun, but educational, k?" I suggested. His face lit up and he nodded quickly.

   "Okay, but we have to make sure we're back in time for the Sports Festival, ok?" I smiled and led him to the forest where it was nice and quiet. We were walking for quite some time, before we reached my favorite spot. It was a clear opening where most of the animals would go to have their own chill time. "I was just here not long ago, so there might be some snacks around here somewhere." I spoke calmly, in case any animals were nearby.
