Your POV:
I woke up feeling sick and worthless. "And you think that since this is the second time I wouldn't feel this shitty, but whooptie-doo." I groaned. "And to think that bastard proposed to me just to leave. How manly of you, Toya Todoroki." I dragged myself out of my bed and let Quinzy inside for my morning cuddles. "Hey, Q. I have some food for you if you want some." I pointed to her food bowl. We've been going through this routine for a little over two months now. No sight of that back stabbing bastard anywhere. "Thank you, Aiko." A small voice spoke as Quinzy walked past me.
I turned around and looked at my cat who was eating her food. "Great, now I'm hallucinating. Tch, animals talking. That'll be the day." I scoffed, walking to my built-in bathroom. I washed my face with really cold water to wake myself up. "I can assure you that you aren't hallucinating, darling." The voice spoke again. I looked down to see Quinzy looking straight at me. "In case you forgot, Aiko. I am five years old now. I guess my 'quirk' as you humans call it is speaking." She said.
"I would like to be carried now." She jumped up and I caught her in my arms. "Well, hey. Now I have someone to talk to." I shrugged, walking back to my bed, pulling out my secret stash of Pinot Noir. I reached for a wine glass, looked at the two, and just started drinking from the bottle. Just then, I heard a knock at my door. "Do you think I should get that?" Quinzy asked. "If you want to, I don't really care." I kept drinking.
Quinzy scratched at my door about a minute later. "It was someone named Mina, she wants to make sure you're, *ahem* 'aight'." Quinzy said. "Tell her I feel like shit and for her to have a good fucking day." I collapsed on my bed. "Sure thing." She walked out, told Mina what I said, and walzted back inside. "Did you still want to talk about something?" Quinzy asked me. "Nah, I'm good." I took another drink of my Pinot Noir.
*A few minutes later*
"And then I'm sitting here thinking 'Am I just unlikable?'! Because everyone I have ever given my heart two, given that it was only two people, have left me for dead! And I bet they're both out there living their best lives!" I ranted to Quinzy. Somehow she had learned to read and write in the next few minutes and was my Kitty Therapist at the moment. "I see. Well, according to everything you just told me..." Quinzy flipped through a few notebook pages.
"You suffer from 'Daddy issues' as they call it, fear of rejection, abandonment issues, originating from your father, and seperation anxiety. Currently, a bit of depression is lurking through your system, but hasn't become completely exposed." Quinzy finished, taking off the glasses she suddenly had on. "You are already undergoing the stages of subtle rejection: Denial and Utter Sadness. The next stage for you would have to be... Acceptance. Accept that what's happened has happened and move on with your life." She advised.
"Who knew my cat would be so smart?" I thought out loud. "Believe me, Aiko. All animals are intelligent, humans just haven't figurd it out yet." Quinzy put her glasses back on and walked out of the room on her hind legs. "Acceptance, huh?" I thought to myself. "I know exactly where to go!." I snapped my fingers. I ran back to my bathroom and washed up completely. "Acceptance and Revenge go hand in hand when it comes to things like this." I hummed, fixing my hair.
"I just need a Revenge outfit." I smiled, looking through my closet. Finally, I found one.
I slipped it on with some [shoes depending on the fit], took of the meaningless ring on my finger, and called an Uber since I had alcohol in my system. 'Can't afford to go to jail!' I sung to myself in my head. When the man pulled up to the club I mentioned, I thanked him and climbed out. When I walked inside, I felt all eyes on me. Hungry eyes, annoyed eyes, curious eyes, even innocent eyes. I walked over to the bar and asked for a blood cocktail. "Coming right up." The waiter with a Russian accent answered.
He gave me my drink and I downed it in one go. I'm not exactly a lightweight, but I'm not a heavyweight either. I then heard my favortie song play on the radio. I walked over to the dance floor and swayed my hips to the music.
I felt strong hands wrap around my waist and swayed with them. "What's a pretty girl like you doing here all alone?" His deep, strong voice asked. "Mm, what's it to you?" I turned towards him, still swaying to the music. He was a handsome man; nice, tan skin, dark hair in a wolf cut, and hazel eyes that seemed to shimmer. "Being as handsome as you are, don't you have a girlfriend? Or a wife, perhaps?" I asked, running my hands along his chest.
"No, actually. My now ex, cheated on me and I need some stress relief. How about you, pretty girl?" He smirked at me, pure lust in his eyes. 'All he's looking for is a good time. And so am I, so why not?' I smiled back at him. "Same boat as you, I guess. Told me he loved me, then left without an explanation. I came here to fill up on alcohol and find some stress relief." I giggled as the man spun me around. "The name's Morinozu Takashi, what's yours, beautiful?" He asked when he pulled me back towards him. "Well, Mori. My names Aiko." I left out my last name, because that could cause trouble.
He chuckled and we danced some more until the song was over. "I hear there's a great hotel near here, wanna get that stress relief you were talking about?" He asked. I nodded, he grabbed my hand and we ran out of the club and into what I could only guess was his car. He pulled off and after a few seconds, he stopped. "Uh, this isn't the hotel." I muttered. "I know, but I couldn't wait any longer." He admitted, leaning in closer until our lips met. As wrong as this was, I missed passionate interactions like this.
Our lips intertwined and moved together, our hands wandering all over each other. We climbed into the back of his car and stripped ourselves from our clothes. His hands wandered down to my waist and pulled me in closer, kissing me again. I moaned from the roughness but didn't pull away.
"Are you sure you want this?" Mori asked. "Because if you aren't sure-" I cut him off with a kiss. "I'll take that as a yes." Mori chuckled when I pulled away.
(You know what happened 😏😈)
We both panted heavily and collapsed on each side of the car, sweating messes. "Y'know what? Fuck it. Can I have your number?" I sighed. "I know that this was probably just a one-time thing, but I'm taking chances." I finished, still panting. "Uh, sure. I can agree with that." Mori chuckled. We exchanged our phones, put our numbers in, and exchanged back. I put my clothes back on and Mori drove me home.
"Hey, uh, Mori. Thanks for tonight, I had a lot of fun." I said when Mori dropped me off. "Yeah, I did, too. Text me when you get inside, yeah?" I nodded and he drove off. I unlocked my door, walked in, and took my shoes off. 'Hey, I'm in.' I texted Morinozu. 'Maybe distracting myself from Toya is a good thing.' I thought to myself as I got into the shower.
