A giant grin spread across my face as he continued to talk about the past.

"Stop," I laughed, "It wasn't that bad."

"You wore a cat women costume the first two months of 4th grade," He chuckled, "It was that bad."

I missed him, he's really the only one I can really relive and discuss my childhood with, it’s nice having a friend you can really talk to.

"I thought I looked cute," I frowned, "Also, It was surprisingly very comfortable."

"I'm not denying you looked you cute," He grinned, revealing his sparkling white teeth.

Its great catching up with him, we have so many great memories to talk about, and so many things to learn about each other. Such as I didn't know that he went to Columbia for two years but had to leave in order to be able to pay for his mother’s hospital bills, he is so sweet and kind. He has a huge heart; I’m surprised he doesn’t have a girlfriend.

"And I wouldn't be talking Buzz Light-year!" I slyly smirked.

Two can play at this game. I can recall a few embarrassing memories about him too.

He dressed like Buzz Light-year for the whole summer of 5th grade, strolling around town screaming out stupid catch phrases like, "To infinite and beyond."

I remember refusing to hang out with him until he toke off the ridiculous costume.

"Don't even speak of it," He groaned.

"Okay," I mischievously smiled, "Off to the spaceship."

He glared at me, and I giggled.

It’s good to have him back I remember all the fun times we spent together, I wonder what life would have been like if I never moved to New York. I glanced at him. Maybe I would be marrying him instead of Steven. I quickly pushed the foolish idea from my head.

I like to believe me and Steven were meant to be, not matter what.

"Okay! I'll stop," I said defensively, "Commander." I continued to laugh.

He stopped walking and turned towards me, he glared at me with a slight tint of red on his cheeks.

"Are you blushing?" I teased.

He turned towards me and I knew what was coming next. I quickly leaped out of the way and sprinted for the house, him on my tail.

Whenever I got him mad when we were younger he would start chasing me, due to my stubby legs he usually ended up tackling and tickling me, but this time I have long modeling legs on my side.

I caught sight of the small white house and began to run faster, my lungs taking rapid breaths. I can practically taste victory; I laughed taking quick glances behind my shoulder. Anxiety rushed through me, he was gaining ground fast. I forced my legs to go faster; I was feet away from the safety of my house. Suddenly, I was pushed to the ground, dirt covering my face, so much for my shower this morning.

I groaned, but he stayed planted on my back.

How old is he again? Five?

"Promise you won't mention Buzz Light-year again?" He started blackmailing me.

Huh, I must've hit a soft spot mentioning his buzz light-year faze.

"Aren't we too old for this?" I groaned.

"Promise?" He questioned.

I rolled over taking my face out of the dirt and faced him. "Why is it a big deal?" I asked curiously.
