Okay, so first I just wanted to say 6K READS OMFG! SHFGKAHSL. Now with that out of my system, thanks to everyone who liked and commented on the previous chapter, I love you! and to the readers who didn't, thanks for nothing. Nah, I love ALL my readers.
P.s. The sexy Zac Efron as Jason, Enjoy his beautifulness and 'Remember When' by Chris Wallace (I thought it was a perfect fit for this story, just imagine Jason singing It to Chloe!) to the side. >>>>
Kelly was one of the few friends I had when I lived here, beside from Jason, and I'm glad we are able to catch up.
"And there you have it," I toke a deep breathe as I finished explaining the situation to Kelly.
"Oh, Well I'm Team Jason." She said simply taking a bite from her cupcake.
What? Had she listened to a thing I told her? I barely mentioned Jason. Basically all I've told her is how Steven has been too caught up in work lately, and I feel a little guilty for hanging out with Jason.
"What?! There's no teams!" I cried.
"Oh! So I misunderstood. You're not spending time with a extremely hot guy that you are attracted too and have a history with, and you're not dating a guy that is being a complete jerk to you at the moment, " she paused for a moment taking a breath, "and there is not a chance at all that Jason has a thing for you and a love triangle has a chance of happening here."
I rolled my eyes at her stupid assumption. I might be slightly attracted to Jason but that doesn't mean I love Steven any less. Being physically attracted to someone doesn't change the fact that Steven is the one I want to be with.
I couldn't help but laugh, "Kelly, I still love Steven, even if he is being a jerk right now, Jason and I have no future in a romantic way so if your team Jason, you mine as well give up now."
I looked down at my attractive cupcake and debated taking a bite.
She sighed, "but I have the perfect solution."
This should be good.
I looked up from the beautiful cupcake, with a sarcastic, questioning look.
"Pick Jason," She answered plainly popping the rest of her cupcake into her mouth.
I rolled my eyes again.
"Not going to happen, but don't worry once you meet Steven I know you're going to absolutely love him."
I peeled the wrapper off my cupcake. Just as I was about to take a bite of the mouth watering treat, my phone began to buzz. I placed the cupcake on the plate and grabbed my phone.
It's Steven. Now he decides to talk?
Even though I was defending him, doesn't mean I'm not still pissed at him for blowing me off again.
I was about to click talk when Kelly swiftly grabbed my phone and pressed reject. I looked at her in shock.
"Why would you do that!" I cried, swiping my phone back from her grasp.
I rarely get to talk to Steven because he is always wrapped up in business and when I do it's only for a couple minutes, even if I'm mad at him.
"Don't call him back," She demanded.
"Why not?"
"You're obviously angry with him, Chloe, he needs to know he can't treat you like that."
"Treat me like what? I understand that he doesn't make enough time for me, but I've learned to respect that, he's busy, and sure I will be mad at times but I just have to deal with it for him," I explained myself.
