Chapter 2: Equip

“Albedo? Hmm.. that’s actually pretty good” Considering he has his own Omnitrix, and I think that I might be able to transform into ultimate aliens as Albedo, that’s definitely a good thing.

“I wonder if I’d be able to scan and copy quirks” Probably not to be honest, since they’re still human, but perhaps scanning people with mutation type quirks might work.

“Hmm.. I need to get out of this forest first, I’ll think about that stuff later.”
I need to figure out where I am, which country, I need to see if I’m in Japan or another country. Being in Japan might give me a slight advantage since I know some of the future, but I’m also pretty sure that the me being here already changed the future.

“Oh! Right, Albedo, I forgot to equip him.” I should probably equip him first before getting out of here.

[Characters: Albedo (Ben 10 Omniverse) ]

“Equip Albedo” As I said those words, My entire body flickered in subtle light, and almost immediately, I have now transformed into Albedo.

I look at the Omnitrix on my wrist, I put two fingers on the faceplate and bringing up a holographic wheel hovering above it, I started scrolling gently in a circular motion, going through the aliens, lightly pressing the faceplate, I choose XLR8.

Now transformed into XLR8, I choose a direction to go and I run in that direction.

Eventually, I started to see buildings in the distance so I slowed down a little.

Getting to the city, I see a huge cloud of smoke. Deciding to check it out, I go to an alley near the commotion, there I see a familiar scene.

I see Katsuki Bakugo being held hostage by the sludge villain, surrounded by flames, just like from the anime.

“Hmm..” Thinking to myself, I need money... So....

Using the commotion as a distraction, I use this chance to pickpocket as much as I can. ‘Sorry not sorry” I need the money.

I quickly go back to the alley as I timeout. In the short time I was pickpocketing, I was able to get a few wallets, not bothering to steal any jewelry or accessories even if they look expensive as I did not know how and where to sell it.

I look back at the captive Bakugo, and I see Deku running straight to the Sludge villain. “What a moron.”

“Baka yarō!! To—" I hear Death Arms Scream to Deku. All I really understand by that was that he was saying “Idiot”.

I couldn’t understand Japanese. Well, it was stupid of me to think just because I was transported to an anime, that I would be able to understand Japanese.

That sort of puts me at a bit of a disadvantage, but whatever... I don’t think I would be able to learn Japanese anytime soon, unless I’ll be able to get a Japanese character.

“Come to think of it, how do I get more characters?” Huh, I’m even speaking with that accent Albedo has

My train of thought was cut short by a scream.— “Detoroito... Ssmaashhh!!” I hear Allmight yell out as a powerful wind pressure was made, almost blowing people away, including me.

When the wind finally subsided, I look at the sky, it started raining.

The silence that was made by the wind pressure is now replaced with the cheers of the civilians watching what had just transpired.

Deciding not to stay any longer, I walked away from the area, I did get a few stares as I’m a foreigner, but it didn’t bother me much. Walking aimlessly, thinking what to do now... ‘Oh! Right, the character acquisition.’

‘CP huh? Well how many do I have now?’

[CP: 35] hmm... How’d I get them tho?’ I searched how to get CP on the Help function.

Hm, alright! So no quest function, that’s actually good, I don’t want to be forced to do something.

‘Alright then, hmm...’ I go to a secluded alley, and take out the wallets I pickpocketed. I stole 7 wallets in total.

Taking money, ignoring the IDs and which I presume to be credit cards, I put all the money into my pockets, and throw the wallets, credit cards and other stuff on the ground.

‘Albedo was originally a galvan, and he is actually smart, but I don’t feel smart... Maybe I don’t get the IQ of the characters? But what about the characters that have nothing but their smarts? Ugh, whatever.”

Looking around the area, seeing if anyone can see me, apart from the passing cars I can see on the street, nobody should be able to see me.

Scrolling through the Omnitrix, I transform into goop and dissolve the wallets on the ground, and then transform back.

I cautiously walk out the alley and continue walking aimlessly while thinking where I can stay as it was almost dark out.

After walking a while, I now see houses instead of large building.

I start surveying the houses in the area I’m currently at.

Now, I’ve decide to break into one of the houses, currently transformed as Ghostfreak, I go in through the walls.

The owner of the house seems to live alone, and his quirk seems to just make his ears bigger, ‘maybe super hearing?’ meh, doesn’t matter.

In the kitchen, going behind the man, still intangible/invisible, I snapped his neck. *Snap* *Thud* His body falls to the ground.

Surprisingly, I didn’t really feel any remorse. ‘Huh, maybe Albedo is actually affecting me’

Hitting the Omnitrix on my chest, I transform into goop once again, enveloping the body and dissolving it.

I then transform back to human. *Yawn* Ahh, I need some sleep.
Turning off the lights of the house, I go to the guy’s  bedroom, it was pretty normal and tidy.

Laying on the bed, I close my eyes and drift away to dreamland.
