Scene Screw Up

We all know the scene where it all began. When Rouge found Shadow and Omega and they teamed up to form Team Dark, but what if....

"This must be it! I've found Eggman's secret treasure!" Rouge said excitedly. She pressed some buttons on the controls and, slowly, the capsule in front of her started to open. Stage smoke began pouring from vents on the ceiling and strobe lights danced about the place.

"What the..." Rouge started to say. The capsule opened, revealing a hedgehog many thought to be dead.

"WHO DARES DISTURB MY SLUMBER?!?!" Shadow bellowed. Rouge furrowed her eyebrows.

"Uh..." Suddenly there was a shriek from across the room.

"EEEK!! SPIDER! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!" A robot screamed, shooting bullets and rockets everywhere. Shadow jumped to his feet. He pushed Rouge out of the way of a rocket. She shook her head slightly.

"Stay here." Shadow ordered her.

"SPIDER! SPIDER!" The robot was still screaming.

"I'M A HEDGEHOG, YOU STUPID HUNK OF METAL!" Shadow shouted. As the two of them fought, Rouge slowly got to her feet.

"Well...uh...Eggman obviously did something to both of you...so...uh...I'll just..." Rouge ducked out of the way of a missile and it exploded behind her. "I'll just wait outside then." She ran from the room.

2 hours later

Rouge cautiously entered the room again.

"Are you guys done fighting?" She asked. Shadow shrugged.

"I guess." He said.

"It has been confirmed that he is not a spider." The robot agreed.

"Yeah...okay." Rouge said. Then she got an idea. "Since we all obviously have a bone to pick with Eggman..."

"Who?" Shadow asked.

"I don't have anything against..." The robot began. Rouge cut him off.

"Shut up, yes you do. And Shadow, he might be keeping your memories from you. Cause you can't remember anything, can you?" Rouge guessed. Shadow looked away from her. "Then it's settled!" She grabbed the robot called Omega and Shadow and pulled them together. "Now you two make up so we can start looking for Eggman... Together!" They put their hands together. "Aw yeah, baby! This makes us a team!" Rouge exclaimed. Shadow pulled his hand away.

"I work alone." He declared.

"Shut up, no you don't. Not any more." Rouge informed him. Then she grabbed his hand and pulled him back over to them. "Team Jewel!" Rouge decided. Shadow made a face.

"Absolutely not." He growled. Rouge put a hand on her hip.

"Alright then, grumpy, what do you want the team name to be?" She inquired. Shadow smirked.

"Team Dark." He answered. Rouge rolled her eyes.

"Figures." She sighed. "I guess I can live with that." She smirked.

"Do I get a say in..." Omega started. Shadow and Rouge rounded on him.

"No!" They both snapped. Shadow crossed his arms.

"Besides, out of the three of us, I'd say you're most likely to be a traitor." He growled.

"I would never hurt..." Omega began.

"Yeah, I'm with Shadow on this one. If we're in the middle of a fight, we don't need you freaking out and trying to squish us like spiders." Rouge agreed.

"Sorry, Omega, but..." Shadow started. Omega cut him off. He aimed all of his guns and rockets at the two of them.

"You two f***ing need me." He snarled. Shadow and Rouge gulped, looking down the barrels of at least fifty guns.

"Now that I think about..." Shadow corrected himself.

"We wouldn't be a team without you, Omega." Rouge said with a smile. Omega put away his guns.

"Aw, you guys!" He exclaimed. He led the way out the door. As they left, Shadow leaned over to Rouge.

"He's so the traitor of the group." He whispered. Rouge nodded in agreement.

"Totally."
