"You had done enough.And he has done enough as your master. I don't think he had ever favoured another girl like you. I am really grateful that you took care of him this long."

She paused for a while. Then she looked into her eyes.

" From here onwards, I will take care of him. You are free to go, "  She said in a firm voice.

Then she repeated her words again in a convincing voice

"YOU ARE FREE TO GO!!!"

Qin Ru, who was just about to have a sip from her cup of tea,halted in the midway.  Her hands slightly trembled when she placed it on the table.

She blinked her eyes more than twice. That wasn't even a request, but a command. She didn't want to stay there any longer. She felt like a fool ,who came there in the first place. So she performed a hand gesture and dissappeared from there with a defeated heart.

Within seconds ,she was at the outside of the Ethereal Palace. She had been backstabbed by goddess Sun Shi with her soft spoken words.

Her heart was heavy due to her request.
She had asked her to stay out of her man. She had clearly said that she could take care of him in the future. Qin Ru didn't have anything to say in return.

She just didn't want to snatch away someone else's love. She just loved him truly, and honestly. Ever since she got to know that they were betrothed from birth, she falsely believed that she still has a chance. Even when she could clearly see him in love with her,she denied the truth and kept on dreaming. Now everything had come to an end. Sun Shi's request wasn't unfair after all.

"She loves him,and ....and he loves her. I deceived my mind and tried to live in my dream, but I cannot do it anymore.I am troubling them being the third wheel,and I don't want to be. I never wanted to be."

A tear rolled down her cheeks.

"I will go.....I will go just because I want him to be happy. Just because his happiness is with you. I WILL GO OUT OF YOUR SIGHT,AS THE WAY YOU ASKED FOR"

A broken sob escaped her mouth. It was too unbearable for her. She didn't  wanna give up,but she had to.

" Shifu... I am doing this only for you, " She murmered with tear filled eyes.

She wiped her tears and ran along the tiled path, but she never went back to the pilgrimage Hall.

Jing Ling was puzzled, not seeing her since morning.

"Has she gone somewhere, on her own? Should I let master know, or shouldn't I."
He thought for a second.

"Maybe she had gone for a stroll. She stucked here with me for the last two days. She will be back in the evening.It's okay,as long as she doesn't make another mistake."

He shook away the thought and went back to his chores.

Qin Ru hadn't gone far ,but to the lower god releam, where her godmother ,moon goddess Yan Ki dwelled.

To travel across the two god releams ,Qin Ru had to cross the  sky river, where the demoted maid of Sun Shi was appointed. But little did she know about that.

Qin Ru, who was at the pier, waved her hand at the boat woman who was in the middle of the sky river. The boat woman had worn a big bamboo hat, which covered her face. What a fate it was that very maid.

Even if she had removed her hat, Qin Ru wouldn't have recognized her, as they met for once,but the maid did recognize her. Her blood boiled, seeing the one who was to be blamed for everything that happened to her. Her life was fabulous when she was with goddess Sun Shi. Now it had become pathetic. Living thousands of years of life looking at the shore and the vast river was a nightmare itself. The only solace she had was goddess Sun Shi's words.
