The blind princess chapter 1 (Lost)

Lucas Pov: We had a big forest behind our mansion, I usually visited the boarder of it since I am not allowed inside of the forest because it is too dangerous. One night I was taking my best friend to see the boarder because it had a huge purple glow at night. "Thats so cool. Lucas when did you find out about this?" He asked me "I have been going here for years, why?" I replied and looked at my friends concerned face "This is the cursed boarder! Legend says if you go in you don't go back out." My friend told me, I didn't believe him though because it was only a legend, and most legends are not real. "If you don't believe me, go in yourself!" my friend yelled "Fine!" I replied with a sarcastic tone to my voice before going into the boarder and it felt like I had passed through a portal, when going to get back out I noticed it was not letting me leave and that I was stuck "Help Alex!" I called out to my friend, but he shook his head and left me there. I got up and wiped the dust off myself "I will find my own way out, I got to be independent." I said to myself but noticed the forest seemed like an endless number of trees "This is going to be hard." I said annoyed and started my journey to get back out. While searching I noticed some broken glasses on the ground, was I not the only one who had went in here and gotten stuck? If so, I need to be very careful because there could be some other not so friendly people, I might have to encounter. I sighed and kept going, checking my surroundings every few minutes because you can never know what will happen when you are in a magical forest with possibly no way out. I hear some animals in the distance, not unnatural for a forest. While walking deeper into the forest I hear crying, I start speeding my pace because someone may be hurt or in danger. "Be brave and do not coward out Lucas." I told myself while continuing to go where the crying was, it kept sounding closer the more I ran to it and then I reached it, there was a girl that looked my age crying while sitting in a cage and when I tapped her shoulder she immediately jumped up. Her eyes were full black, not black iris or any of that. Full black. I step back a little bit startled and trip "Who are you?!" The girl asked, how could she know where I was without seeing me? This was all so crazy, first I get betrayed and lost in a forest and find a girl crying that has eyes like voids. Why did I not believe my friend god. "I am Lucas." I said to the girl trying to calm her down, she looks like she calmed down a bit but she was still on guard "I am moon." She replied and shook my hand. "Why are you here?" I asked moon but she did not answer my question.
