"I'll be fine without you, Huyang," the young Miraluka said to the ancient droid. "I've been to Ilum multiple times. At this point, I'd be able to fill your position with how many lightsabers I've needed to replace," He chuckled.

"Only if you are sure, Rigel," Huyang replied, a tad upset that his vast knowledge on the art of making a lightsaber wasn't of use to the young jedi knight.

Turning to his Delta-7 starship, he waved a goodbye to the faithful droid. As soon as he got into the ship, he gently set his hands down onto the control panel in front of him, feeling where each and every button and lever was before taking off. Even though this small routine he did before every lift off was pointless, it gave him comfort to know exactly where everything was through touch instead of relying only on the force to see.

"Right then," Rigel said to himself. He closed the lid to his ship and turned on the thrusters, hovering the starship into the air before zipping off into the sky, weaving in between the skyscrapers of Coruscant as he made his ascent.

Just as he broke the atmosphere, the com link on his arm started chirping at him. He pressed the com and was immediately met with his former masters voice.

"Rigel, where are you?" The woman asked, "I've requested that you help in the upcoming seige of Mandalore, and it has been accepted."

"Sorry, but I can't really act as a reinforcement without a lightsaber," Rigel responded.

"You lost your lightsaber... again?" His master asked sarcastically.

"Technically speaking, I didn't lose it. One of the clankers managed to shoot the hilt and shatter my kyber crystal."

His master sighed. "So I take it you're going to Ilum again."

"Exactly."

"Right then, don't take too long. The end of the Clone Wars is nearing," She said, "Be back soon, and may the force be with you."

"Always," He replied, then turning off the com and entering hyperspace.

Black was all he could see in his empty mind. As hard as he tried to see someone, anyone out there in the galaxy who had survived, no one was found. He knew that doing this, reaching out with the force, was extremely dangerous considering the fact that the Sith had risen to power again and were hunting down every remaining Jedi, but he needed to know if he truly was the only surviver. He needed to know if there was a slight chance that the order could be rebuilt. He needed to know if his hope wasn't just a waste of time and energy.

Deciding that he was done with his searching for the day, he stood up from his cross-legged sit and traveled through the thick forests to the small colony of Ewoks he had befriended.

After six years of traveling around the galaxy, barely escaping the Empire's grasp, he had finally found a planet untouched by the darkside: Endor. It was a forest planet located in the Outer Rim full of life and the primitive species, the Ewoks. Due to his force abilities and his species being deemed foreign by the Ewoks, he was treated like a God, an all-powerful being sent to them from the skies above. In reality, though, he had just needed a stable source of food and water, and the Ewoks were there to help.

Having reached the colony of Ewoks and their village built high in the tree tops, Rigel was immediately surrounded by the short, bear-like Ewoks who offered him all sorts of foods. "Thank you, thank you," He said, taking some of the food for his dinner that night. It was nice to have a steady source of food that was always available. During the Clone Wars, he was constantly on the battlefield, where his only food source was usually bland tasting field rations that ran out quickly. Many times, though, he would starve. Even though his jedi training helped him with overcoming natural feelings and often painful sensations, being left with no food for nearly two standard weeks on Ilum made itself immensely clear even with the use of the force.
