James is a poor student and his academic performance is reflected in his disciplinary records. In an effort to encourage James, Professor Slughorn has been holding him to much lower expectations than other students. And unfortunately, Haylee has been caught in the crossfire.

Upon entering the classroom, Haylee was confronted with a subtle but obvious expression of lower expectations from Slughorn. He spoke to her in a condescending tone, and asked questions that were too simple for her skill level. Haylee was shocked, and unsure how to respond. She felt insulted and embarrassed at the same time.

The most difficult part of this experience for Haylee is that she is judged based on her brother's performance. She was aware that her brother was not the best student, but felt his mistakes should not reflect on her. She was worried that this would negatively impact her grades and her reputation in the school.

This kind of unfair treatment of Haylee is something that should not be tolerated. It is wrong to hold students to lower expectations based on the performance of their siblings. Every student deserves to be treated equally and fairly, regardless of their family. even though everyday she proved she was better at scholar things than James but he still had her held James's standards One Day in class they were making a potion. Slughorn paired her with a third Dorcas Medows

"Ms. Potter i'll give you a patpicapation grade," Slughorn "let Ms. Medows do the work."

Haylee made the entire potion.Dorcas helped a bit but she  kept making eyes this girl Marlene.

"congrations girls you did very well Dorcas,"

"Acctully Professer it was Haylee, here that did it."

Haylee was eventually able to prove to Professor Slughorn that she was a capable student and earned his respect. However, this is a situation that many students have faced before, and it is not right. All students should be held to the same standards, regardless of their family situation.
