The Lord is near 
To those repentant
Who hold Him dear 
On Him dependent 

The Lord is near 
To those who seek 
His Kingdom first 
And not own needs

The Lord is near 
To those who heed 
His Word and Ways 
And let Him lead 

The Lord is near 
To those who are 
Humble and reverent 
Giving Him full heart
