Jessi and Terry were giving it a shot trying to live together. Jessi admitted to herself that it was wonderful seeing him in his own home, all the time. She didn't want the 'honey-moon phase,' to feel like it would end. Waking each morning to the smell of Terry's cologne, the messy sheets, the love bites he loved to leave along her hips and collarbone, Jessi also enjoyed the feeling of the heated floors in the bathroom.
Terry always made sure everything was in its place for Jessi, telling his staff to get things sorted out to keep her comfortable but making sure that they were scarce if she was home waiting for him.
Jessi kept herself busy at her shop each day. Terry stopped by before heading home every evening, "Hello there sweetheart, how is your day?" He'd coo, breezing in through the doors.
"Hey, baby!" She'd chirp, "Busy as always. How was class?" Sure, their conversation was nothing out of the ordinary, but Jessi looked forward to seeing Terry on a daily basis.
Today was no different. The same old clientele coming in and out of the doors, wanting their suits or shirts altered to fit properly, women coming in wanting custom dresses. Jessi was in no short supply of work. Nearing the end of her day, she heard the bells chime, emerging from the back room to greet the guests, she stopped short. Daniel LaRusso stood in the middle of her shop, unshaven, disheveled.
"What are you doing here?" Jessi grumbled.
Daniel wobbled in place, "Y-you, you need to be careful," he slurred, "Th-that guy," he sloppily pointed toward Cobra Kai, "H-h-he isn't good."
Jessi glared at the man who invaded her shop before she saw another figure enter her shop, Chozen Taguchi and Johnny Lawrence weren't far behind.
"Are you kidding me?" Jessi mumbled, "Get out. I'm about ready to close for the day. You three aren't welcome here, you need to leave."
Johnny looked from Jessi back to Daniel, "So this is the chick? She is cute, too cute for that ponytailed ass."
"No time for this," Chozen said, "We must take Daniel and leave. Not safe to stay here."
"You should listen to your friend," Jessi began to seethe, "I am a bystander in whatever you have going on. Leave Terry and I alone, we want no part of your drama."
Daniel stumbled over towards Jessi, Johnny clambered to get a hold of him, "J-Jessi, you need to watch your b-back. He will h-hurt you."
Jessi took a step back, ready to fight if she had to, alas, the moment never came. Terry, Sensei Da Eun and Sensei Odell came through the door.
"I think it's time you gentleman leave," Terry said darkly, looking over the drunken Daniel.
Daniel glared at Terry, before anything else could be said, Daniel lunged towards Jessi, taken by surprise all Jessi could do was attempt to push Daniel away. She fell to the ground with a thud. Her elbow hitting the ground as Daniel snatched the fabric of her dress as she fell, ripping her dress in the process, exposing her.
Johnny and Chozen shouted at Daniel holding him back. Jessi crumpled on the ground, beginning to cry, she desperately covered herself with the torn fabric. Sensei Da Eun made her way to Jessi, helping her up and to the back room. Terry approached Daniel, Sensei Odell hunkered in the corner, on the phone.
"That. Was a major, major mistake Danny Boy," Terry hissed, slowly approaching Daniel.
"You-you need to back off!" Daniel hollered.
Johnny and Chozen got between Daniel and Terry, trying to keep them separated.
Terry glared at Daniel with every ounce of malice he contained within him, "You two better get out of my way," he snarled at Chozen and Johnny.
