Terry made sure his private jet was ready for their departure, he wanted to surprise his love by taking her to a Montana mountain cabin, surrounded by trees, streams, a large lake, wildlife to watch for days, nestled in the hillside was a small, yet fairly spacious two story cabin with floor-to-ceiling windows in the master bedroom on the second story.

"This is wonderful," Jessi murmured quietly, walking softly into the living room that was adorned with antlers from varying animals, a bearskin rug, and other woodland décor. Jessi warmed herself by the fireplace, turning to smile at Terry, "This is perfect. Thank you, babe."

Terry stalked across the room to his love, wrapping his arms around her waist, "Of course, sweetheart. I thought a quiet getaway is what you would need. What better way to relax than up here?" He kissed her softly, her dainty hands gripped his shoulders, pulling him closer.

Taking her small hand he led her upstairs to the large king-sized bed, the dark, forest green drapes pulled back to reveal the forest down below with a stream sneaking into the thick of the woods. After unpacking, Jessi stood, still as a statue in front of the large windows, taking in the land beneath her. She startled when Terry quietly came up behind her, pulling her to him.

"Beautiful isn't it?" He said.

Nodding before quietly answering, "It's breathtaking. There's an elk down there making his way to the stream for some water," she pointed to the trees down to their left. The pair stood watching the large horned animal making his way to the water. Majestic, the animal's antlers reached up towards the heavens, seven points on each, he was a sight. After the animal made its way back into the trees Jessi sighed deeply, engraving everything into her mind so she could paint it later.

"You hungry at all, honey?" Terry asked.

"A little. What did you have in mind?"

"I had some of my people stock up the kitchen area. I was thinking I could make us a little something."

Jessi turned to peer up at him, a sly grin on her face, Terry chuckled and had to ask, "What? I can cook."

He was right, he made some of the best homemade spaghetti complete with homemade pasta noodles.

"Well, Mr. Silver, I am absolutely impressed," Jessi chuckled lightly as they enjoyed their meal, "This is so good. Thank you."

"You're welcome, baby. I told you I could cook," he laughed, "I watched some videos and went through countless recipes to learn how to make homemade pasta and sauce. I wanted it to be perfect."

"It's more than perfect than perfect can get. A candlelight dinner in the mountains of Montana is more than I ever thought I needed," Jessi smiled. The pair enjoyed their meal, chatting about everything and nothing.

Jessi began to wash dishes, Terry grabbed a towel to dry and place the dishes away. "You know something?" Jessi inquired.

"What's that?"

"We make a pretty good team."

Terry smiled, "We do, don't we. Guess opposites do attract. You're so quiet, meek, introverted."

Jessi grinned, looking to Terry, "And you're extroverted, extravagant... A good fighter."

"Oh, come on. You're a good sparring partner. I don't ever want you to be in a fight," Terry lovingly dried off Jessi's hands, "These hands are far too priceless, just as you are to precious to mar that beautiful skin of yours. The clothes you make, the paintings that adorn your walls, that's what you were put on this earth for."

Her face turned red, no matter the amount of times that Terry doted and spoke sweet words to her, he always made her blush, "And," she continued for him, "I was put on this earth to love you."

Terry cupped her face, pressing his lips to hers, "And I was put here to love you," he whispered against her soft lips, "Let's go relax in the living room," in one swift motion he scooped her up in his arms, bridal style and waltzed into the living room area.

Sitting side by side, the fire crackling in the hearth, rain beginning to patter against the large window they sat in front of, Jessi was so content that it nearly brought her to tears. She huddled close into Terry's side, wanting to bury herself into him as much as she could. Terry's arm tightened around her shoulders, placing a kiss against the top of her head, he grinned, sipped his champagne and enjoyed the moment with her.

"Would you like to listen to some music?" He asked, afraid to interrupt the moment they were in.

Jessi nodded, "Yeah, something soft?" Terry smiled, grabbing the remote that sat next to him on the side table, he clicked a button and the speakers that were installed throughout the living room area came to life with the soft melodies of Tchaikovsky, one of Jessi's favorite composers.

She hummed contently, closing her eyes, listening to the rhythmic notes of the stringed instruments. Terry began to soflty run his fingers through her soft hair, his other hand coming down to draw patterns across her arm that draped around his midsection.

"You wanna dance?" She asked, barely loud enough that he could hardly hear her. He told her he would be happy to have a dance.

Jessi's feet pattered against the hardwood floors, Terry slid his shoes off, taking her hand and small waist, they swayed to the music. Jessi rested her head against his chest, taking in the moment, inhaling his musky cologne. 'He really knows how to treat a girl,' Jessi chuckled inside, thinking about her love that she wrapped herself around.

"Are you happy?" He asked suddenly, snapping her out of her thoughts, she peered up at him, a wide smile stretching across her face, telling him that she is the happiest she has ever been in her in her life since he came into her shop.

"I have another question for you," he grinned down at her, taking her hands in his, kissing her forehead before he knelt down in front of her, his hand grasping hers, he dug into his pocket, producing a small, velvet draped box. Flicking the box open with one hand he smiled up at her, "Jessi, you make me the happiest man on this earth. Will you marry me?"

Jessi stood stunned that anyone would ask for her hand, her fingers gripped his hand tightly, tears began to fall beautifully down her face as she suddenly dropped to her knees, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Yes," she whispered into his ear, "I'd marry you in every lifetime we would have together."

Terry wrapped his arms around her waist, smiling, elated that this little thing that made him so happy, said yes. He finally found his Mrs. Silver that he had searched for.

As they stood, Terry gazed at Jessi's beautiful face, wiping away her tears, he then placed the simple, pure silver ring on her finger. The sapphire in the setting was the same hue as his signet ring he always wore on his little finger. Jessi looked at the new piece of jewelry adorning her hand, placed a soft kiss against the gem, then took Terry's face in her hands, pulling him down to her.

"I love you, Terry, so much."

"I love you more, Jessi."

They returned to swaying in tune with the music, Terry reached down, wrapping his hands around the backs of her thighs, lifting her. His hands caressed her skin under the dress she wore, her delicate hands held his face as she pressed her forehead against his. Suspended in this moment, the rain pattered against the windows, the music was perfect, the fire continued to crackle, in the arms of her love, Jessi didn't want this moment to ever end.

Like the trees that surrounded the picturesque cabin they existed in Jessi wanted to be planted in this moment and, Jessi wanted more than anything to paint the scenes of the day. She wanted their home to be covered in the memories, covered with the canvases that she poured herself into.

"How did I get so lucky to have you?" Terry asked, breaking the string of thoughts that clattered around her brain, "You're so talented, Jessi, sweet, selfless... out of the other billions of people in this world and you chose me."

"I'm the lucky one, Terry. I'd still be toiling away on garments and painting my nights away. Thank you for loving me and trusting me with your heart," her fingers curled in his hair, their lips met, the perfect moment that could have ever existed. Just Jessi and Terry, wholly in love, alone, in a mountain cabin, sharing their love and excitement to begin their future and all their tomorrows.
