i open up my journal, which i haven't done since me and colby started talking. i used to write a lot about colby. he was and still is the first boy i've ever fallen in love with.

today is valentine's day, i hope colby got me something!! i'm sure he did he's amazing.
update! he got me chocolates and flowers. we haven't even started dating yet and i already love him.

colby asked me on a movie date. maybe he will make a move... i'm so excited! i'll update you later
colby kissed me! i cant stop smiling.
i think it's time for bed.. i cant stop thinking about the kid.

colby. brock. asked. me. to. be. his. girlfriend!! omg!! i'm so in love!
"hey y/n" colby comes into the room. he places a small kiss on my cheek.
"whacha doinggg?" he asks.
"reading through my journal. i haven't written in this thing since you asked me out! may 28th 2021."
"wait that's so cute, let me read."
"colby even when we're married i'll never let you read it. it's so cringy." i put my journal on my bedside table and walk away. of course colby was curious so he decided to do a little snooping. colby grabs the journal from my bedside table and opens up to the first page. colby reads the entire thing. he cannot stop smiling. he feels so special. colby walks downstairs where i was and pulls me into a hug.
"you're so cute."
"you read it didn't you." i roll my eyes and just laugh it off.
