Jiah pov:
"Wake up, Wonu!" I shook Wonwoo to wake him up, annoyed by his ringing phone that had been disrupting my reading for the past 5 minutes.
"Yeoboseyo," Wonwoo answered the phone with his eyes still closed.
"Araseo. See you guys later," he said before ending the call. He then asked me about the time.
"It's 9:30 AM," I replied as I flipped a page in my book.
Wonwoo jumped up on the bed and quickly checked the time on his phone. "Aish, I'm going to be late," he exclaimed and rushed to take a quick shower.
"Ah!" I shouted as he began changing his clothes.
"Sorry, I'm not used to having a girl in my room," he chuckled awkwardly and turned the chair I was sitting on to face away from him.
"Who were you talking to?" Wonwoo's omma opened the door and asked.
Wonwoo glanced at me before shaking his head, "I was watching some videos. I'm gonna go, bye Omma," he said and rushed out after grabbing his things.
"Bye Appa!" he greeted his father, who was sitting on the sofa.
"Ah, I won't be coming back for dinner. I'm meeting Soonyoung and the others at the studio," Wonwoo continued before heading out of the house and his parents waved goodbye to him.
I followed him, whooshing into the passenger seat. Being a ghost had its perks, like the ability to pass through objects.
"Where are you heading?" I asked as he drove off.
"Office. I have a meeting at 10:30 AM, and I'm running late. Why didn't you wake me when you didn't need to sleep?" he replied, accelerating the speed.
"You didn't tell me?" I glared at him, making him laugh.
"Thankfully, the traffic isn't bad," Wonwoo exclaimed as we arrived at his office. He placed his stuff on his desk and grabbed his laptop before heading to the conference room.
I sat down on the couch at the back of the conference room and observed them. Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Jisoo, and Jun were all present. Apparently, the five of them had joined Seungcheol's father's company after graduating from university.
"That's all for today. Thank you, everyone," Seungcheol announced, and one by one, everyone left the room.
I followed behind Wonwoo as he continued to talk to the four Seventeen guys while walking out.
"Hi, guys!" A female voice greeted them. It was Hani, holding up some breakfast for them. She smiled brightly.
I licked my lips when I saw the cake on the table as Hani took out the food and placed it there.
Wonwoo started laughing, and I turned to see him looking at me. "Wonwoo, what are you laughing at?" Jeonghan asked him. He quickly turned away and told them it was nothing.
Jeonghan exchanged glances with Seungcheol, thinking that Wonwoo was laughing at Hani as she was seated beside him.
"Wonwoo, how have you been? We didn't get to talk yesterday," Hani smiled and asked him.
"Good," Wonwoo answered in a cold manner, which left Seungcheol and Jeonghan confused about his sudden change in mood.
They continued to talk for a bit before Hani went to Seungcheol's office to discuss work. Hani had joined her father's company after returning.
"Wonwoo, are you okay?" Jisoo asked as they all remained in the pantry together with Jeonghan and Jun. "You were laughing just now, and suddenly you became so cold."
