Author pov:

The next morning, everyone woke up early and prepared to go back to their homes.

"Princess, do you want to ride in the car with me and Jihoon?" Seungcheol turned to ask Jiah after loading the stuff into the car.

Jiah turned to Wonwoo, and he smiled and nodded slightly. "Sure," Jiah replied, smiling.

"What's up, guys? I'm listening," Jiah spoke out in the middle of the car ride, sensing that Seungcheol and Jihoon had something to ask or tell her.

"Smart girl," Jihoon praised and cleared his throat. "Jiah, do you like Wonwoo?"

"Nae!" Jiah exclaimed in surprise at Jihoon's question, making the two guys sitting in front laugh.

"We are just curious because Wonwoo and you sometimes behave like a couple," Seungcheol chimed in.

"Ani, it's the same with all of you guys," Jiah tried to defend.

"I'm a ghost too. Even if I did, nothing will work out..." Jiah continued and had a disappointed expression on her face.

"So you did fall for him..." Seungcheol said.

Jiah smiled slightly, looking out the window. "He did make my heart flutter a few times, but I know there would be an ending for us, so don't worry, I won't hurt him," Jiah finished, revealing that she had overheard their conversation in the room.

"Bye, thanks for the ride!" Jiah waved them goodbye and flew into Wonwoo's house while they went to Soonyoung's place.

"Eomeoni, Abeoji, have you guys been well?" Hani greeted Wonwoo's parents while Wonwoo sat beside her.

"Hani ah, you have grown so much. We have missed you so much, dear," Wonwoo's mother held onto Hani's hand and said.

"Noona, are you back for Hyung?" Wonwoo's brother, Wonmin, teased, and Wonwoo shot a glare at him.

Hani's cheeks reddened slightly. "I'm back to help my father's company, and maybe if it works, I don't mind trying again," she finished and looked at Wonwoo shyly.

"Wonwoo ah, you should hang out more with Hani again. Maybe the love will rekindle,"

Wonwoo's father said. The family was all fond of Hani when the two were still together.

"Appa..." Wonwoo said softly, frowning his forehead.

Jiah flew out of the house after seeing the situation, not wanting to disturb the loving atmosphere. She flew to Soonyoung's place and found him with Seungcheol and Jihoon in his room, talking.

"Appa, could you tell Wonwoo I will be with you guys for the night?" Jiah told Seungcheol.

"Wae? What's wrong?" Soonyoung asked in concern while lying on Jihoon's lap. (Soonhoon!!)

"Nothing, just they are having some lovely reunion with the ex-girlfriend, so I don't want to disturb," Jiah replied.

"Ahh, that fast?" Soonyoung questioned. Jiah remained silent while Seungcheol and Jihoon exchanged glances as they looked at Jiah's expression.

Back at Wonwoo's place, the family and Hani had dinner, and Wonwoo was told to send Hani back by the parents.

"Wonwoo... are you okay?" Hani asked carefully as Wonwoo had a serious expression on his face.

Wonwoo sighed but continued looking forward as he drove, "Why did you come to my house?"

"I miss Eomeoni, Abeoji, and Wonmin," Hani replied.

"I miss you too... Wonwoo, I regret it. Now I'm back, can we try again?" She continued as she placed her hand on Wonwoo's that was resting in the center compartment.

Wonwoo's heart skipped a beat, but he remained quiet. Hani smiled and kept her hand in the same position, sensing that he hadn't forgotten her and that she still had a chance.

Wonwoo pov:

Jiah didn't come back for the night, and I slept alone in the room. When I woke up in the morning, I felt a slight emptiness in my heart as I turned off the alarm clock. I had gotten used to Jiah waking me up every morning.

I washed up and changed, heading to work. Upon reaching the office, I saw Jiah inside Seungcheol's office room.

"Morning," I greeted as I opened the door. Seungcheol greeted me back and went back to work on his computer.

"Morning," Jiah smiled slightly and followed me as I gestured for her to go to my office.

"Why didn't you come back last night?" I asked as I closed the door and placed my stuff down.

Jiah sat down on the sofa, "We played until late, so I ended up coming here with Seungcheol as I didn't want to scare you. You know I'm a ghost," she chuckled.

"Well, okay," I replied and started doing my work.

"Won ah, I brought food, let's eat," Hani opened the door to my office and led me to the pantry, holding my wrist.

Jiah followed behind, her head hanging down. 'They look good together,' Jiah thought to herself.

"Are you two... back together?" Jun asked carefully as he noticed Hani and I being close again.

"Jun," Hani covered her blushing face, "I'm trying to win Won's heart again," she continued, looking at Wonwoo with loving eyes.

Jiah couldn't handle the scene and told the guys she was heading out for a walk. She left before we could give her any acknowledgment.
