Dinner

Han stood there, with his cold demeanour. Su-Ah was slightly confused but opened her door more.

"Yes?"

"You haven't eaten today. Shall I make you dinner?"

Han asked, which confused Su-Ah even more. Why was he being so nice all of a sudden?

"No thanks," she replied briskly, which slightly irritated him.

He shrugged and left. "Suit yourself."

Su-Ah shut her door, locking it (just in case), and went back to her desk, continuing to work.

Han POV:

I heard her close her door as I went into the kitchen. I put on an apron and started cooking.

15 minutes later, I had finished making 4 small pancakes of Pajeon.

(Just imagine this- but smaller and 4 of these- with a sauce on the side!!)

The smell was so good as I felt my hunger spike up. I put 2 plates on the dining table and brought the plate with the Pajeon. I placed 2 small bowls of a side sauce next to the 2 plates. I removed my apron and sat down, waiting.

Su-Ah POV:

I was in my room, working, when a delicious smell wafted into my room. I tried to ignore the smell, but it was just so tempting. My stomach rumbled, which annoyed me, but I still continued with my work.

A minute later, the hunger engulfed me; I couldn't think straight. I got up and opened my door just slightly. The scent was even more tempting as I could smell it even more clearly.

I stepped out of my room and tiptoed my way to the dining room. I saw Han, and turned around to leave, but froze when I heard a voice.

Author POV:

Han knew that Su-Ah was coming towards the table, but he didn't say anything. From the corner of his eye, he saw her turning around.

"Hey, are you not gonna eat? I made 2 for you."

Su-Ah grimaced and turned back around. She sat down at the table, and started eating, not saying a word.

Han furrowed his brows but realised that Su-Ah was still terrified of him. He smirked, but quickly replaced it with a straight face, just in case she noticed.

They both finished eating and put their plates in the dishwasher. Su-Ah retired to her room, making sure to lock her door, while Han went back to the couch.

Around 9 PM, Su-Ah went to bed, and around 9:30 PM, Han had gone to his room, first checking if her room was locked.

Han POV:

I flopped down onto my bed, feeling victorious about the previous night's... happenings. I felt relieved, after showing Su-Ah her place. I mean... it was a test to see if she'd take me seriously, but no. She was one of those.

I grit my teeth in annoyance. One of THOSE. How dare she not take me seriously?! After everything, I still had some hope, but no. No. She didn't believe my threat. I just showed her, her place. Nothing wrong.

But... everyone has a different view of what's wrong and what's not. In my opinion, what I did is not wrong. Right? Yeah, yeah. My actions are justified. No, but normal people would've disagreed.

Wait... Normal? That makes me abnormal... Lemme rephrase that.

Other people would've disagreed. But alas, I did what I had to do. I had to show my authority.

It's just... self-defence.

I'm sure I did right...

Right?

I hope so...

Su-Ah POV:

I settled in for the night around 9, while Han was out, doing whatever. I didn't want to know. I got up from bed, and went to my door, just checking if the door was locked. This was the 7th time in 3 minutes I was going to the door.

Just checking...

Checking...

That's all. Nothing more, nothing less. It doesn't hurt to be on the safe side.

Right?

Yeah, it won't hurt. Better than being scared sh!tless during the night. No, this time, I won't lose sleep.

I won't lose sleep...

Sleep...

Author POV:

With that, Su-Ah fell asleep and so did Han. But little does Su-Ah know, her sleep, will be her worst slumber yet...

Author Note:

Sorry for the boring chapter- but the story needs to go somewhere.
