Author POV:
Students slowly began filing into the lecture room. A minute passed and the seats filled up faster. Su-Ah glanced around, her eyes landing on Han. He didn't seem to notice her, as he made his way to the back of the room.
A couple minutes later, the professor walked in and started the class. The sound of books opening, and the rustling of pages was heard throughout the room.
Su-Ah POV:
I yawned as I gazed lazily at the front of the room. Not getting the sleep I required at night definitely wasn't helping me.
A couple minutes later, I felt like the lack of proper sleep was, quite literally, killing me. I fought to keep my eyes open and every muscle in my body was tense. I literally felt like I was fighting for my life.
It was definitely a bad idea, keeping myself awake at night. Now that I think about it... maybe I wouldn't have had another nightmare. I started to zone out, as the professor's lecture was the last thing I cared about.
I started procrastinating. I mean... really, what's the worst that could've happened if I went to sleep. Nightmare? Yeah, most probably. Going through a nightmare is definitely better than forcing myself to stay awake for three and a half god damn hours.
In my thoughts, I slowly started to feel more tired. Using my thick notebook as a cover up, I set it standing, in front of me. Then, I propped my elbows up on the table and put my face in my hands.
Hoping the professor wouldn't notice, I mean, there were like almost 40 students in the classroom, I slowly closed my eyes. Soon all noises were drowned out, as I dozed off to sleep.
Author POV:
A couple minutes had passed since Su-Ah went to sleep, in class. No one noticed, not even the professor, though he did find it slightly suspicious with the way her book was standing up. He decided to brush it off, but started hearing hushed whispers, as he sent the class to work on an activity.
Su-Ah's book hadn't moved, and neither had she. The professor pretended to ignore the whispers, but he listened closely.
They were hurried pieces of gossip.
"Oh, she's sleeping?"
"Really?"
"The audacity to sleep in class."
"Wow, she's actually out cold."
"How does the professor not know?"
"What did she do in the night?"
A chuckle came from somewhere. The owner of that laugh started speaking.
"Wow... Su-Ah Hwang... Sleeping in class... Amazing."
His voice boomed across the room, reaching the professor's ears. He looked up and saw Han smirking, looking towards his seatmates.
The professor got up and called for the attention of the class. He made a show of calming them down, and proceeding to explain something, give a tip for their assignment. But just to test, he called out Su-Ah's name, but received no reply.
He called her name again, but this time, he was given a slight groan and shuffle. He went over to Su-Ah's seat and tapped her shoulder lightly. She didn't budge. He repeated and called out her name.
Su-Ah flinched, her eyes fluttering open. She stared wide-eyed at the professor who stood in front of her.
"Sleeping in class?" The professor inquired, furrowing his eyebrows at her.
"S-sorry, professor. It's just that I w-wasn't able to get a good sleep, l-last night." Her head turned away, now looking at her table. Her fingers fidgeted in her lap, as she nervously picked at the hangnails that conveniently appeared on her fingers.
"Is that so? I'm letting you off this time, only because it's the start of the year, which can get a little stressful. And you do look really tired. Get some sleep, yeah?"
Su-Ah nodded in response. Her face was fully flushed in embarrassment. The professor went down the stairs, and back to the front of the class. But another professor popped in, dragging the professor with her.
The door closed and the class was left with no surveillance. Just like any other class, this one went wild. A lot of the class burst into laughter, while some kind souls looked at her with sympathy.
Her seatmate, a kind girl called Yeosin, reached over and took her hand in hers, gently squeezing it, giving Su-Ah a kind, reassuring smile.
"Ha! Su-Ah Hwang! What were you doing all night?! Texting your secret boyfriend?! Out partying?! You were tired enough to sleep in class?! Ha, that's really funny!"
Su-Ah didn't have to turn around to realise who that voice belonged to.
She knew exactly who it was.
Han fuck!ng Jisung.
She shot out of her seat and marched over to Han, grabbing him by his collar.
"You fuck!ng little piece of sh!t! You, the cause of my nightmares! You, the cause of this! And now you're accusing me of talking to a nonexistent boyfriend?! Out partying?! What the actual f^ck is wrong with you?! You think you're so funny? You think what I'm feeling right now is funny?! Go get a fuck!ng life, Han Jisung!"
She aggressively withdrew her hand and went back to her seat, thumping down it, crossing her arms in anger. Han just stood there, with his jaw open, rendered completely speechless. The whole class was in silence, but those nasty whispers started filling the room again.
"Whoa..."
"She's got some nerve."
"What did she say?"
"Is she lying? I bet she is."
"I can't believe that just happened."
"That girl's crazy."
Su-Ah was going crazy, listening to all this useless gossip.
"Will you all shut the f^ck up, please?!" She yelled, irritated. Everyone fell silent, slumping into their seats. She sighed, annoyed. She went over the pages she missed, while asleep, in class.
The professor walked back in, after about 2 minutes, and told everyone to resume on their assignment. During his absence, Yeosin filled Su-Ah about what she missed.
A long hour later, the class finally was over. Su-Ah quickly packed up and left the class, rushing to the library. She found a quiet spot in the corner and set her laptop on the desk.
The first thing she did was check her schedule. She was free. No more classes for today. She sighed in relief and went on to do some work; finish the assignment the professor gave.

HorrorSu-Ah grabbed her phone again, turning on the flashlight, opening the door quickly. "I swear, Han, if this is some type of prank, you are so dead tomorrow." Once again, there was no one there. The banging on Su-Ah's door didn't happen again. That's...
