Chapter Six

                         ((Part Two))

Once on the surface. April, Raph, and Donnie were drivinf the go karts as Mikey was holding on roped and on his skateboard, he was yelling and screaming as gaint rats smelt the cheese tbat was on Mikey's head and started to chase them. Then two small rats dropped down onto the rope and started to nibble on the rope. "Hey! Get off!" Mikey said as he try to swipe them away but the rats finished biting the rope and Mikey fell off and yelled in pain as Donnie, Raph, and April started the kart and turned their heads to see Mikey being attacked by the gaint rats. "Shit! We gott help him!" Raph said as they turned around and drove to him. They stopped and out out quickly as Raph and Donnie pulled out their weapons and started to attack the gaint rats. April grabbed the big cheese and whistled for the gaint rats attention. "Hey! Want this block of cheese?" She said as the gaint rats turned their head and April threw it down an alleyway away. The gaint rats followed the smell of the cheese as Donnie put away is bo staff and helped Mikey up. Then they all went into an alleyway far but close to the karts.
         Donnie set Mikey down. "Shit.. my leg.." Mikey said as Donnie crouched down and looked at it. "It's okay Mikey.." He said and looked at Raph. "Raph text Leo! I'm gonna take him back to the lair." Donnie said. "Wait you? You're not gonna take the go kart are you?" Raph asked as he grabbed his t-phone and text Leo. "No, I'm taking the shell-razor. Change of plans." Donnie said as he took out a medkit as he opened it and grabbed some bandages. He started to wrap Mikey's leg, later Leo showed up and opened the shell-razor door as Donnie and April help get Mikey inside. April stepped out. "Leo, change of plans, you are with April and Raph. I'm taking Mikey back to the lair." Donnie said as Leo nodded and got out of the shell-razor and Donnie closed the doot behind him he then got into the drivers seat and started to drive away as gaint rats saw and started to follow. "Shit! Quickly! To the karts!" Leo said as he, April and Raph got into the karts they drove to the gaint rats that were following Donnie.
        They started to throw stuff at them to get their attention once they got their attention, Raph and April pulled a lever making the separate and drive away into different roads as they gaint rats followrd them.

         Once Donnie parked at the entrance of the lair he went over to Mikey and helped him up and opened the door and they both got out. "Sensei!" Donnie called out as they both reach to the couches. Donnie set him down on the couch. "Where could he be?" Mikey asked as Donnie shrugged. "Do you think.. that rat king controlled him?" Mikey asked again. Donnie the pulled out a smoke bomb just in case. "I hope not.. I'll look in the dojo, yell if he is out here." He said as Mikey nodded. Donnie started to head into the dojo. "Sensei?" He called out again as Splinter's door started to open and he walked out. "Donatello. What happened up there?" He asked as Donnie sighed and put away his smoke bomb and Splinter walked up to him. "Well, rats chewed the rope that Mikey was holding onto and it snapped, he broke his leg. But he is alright!" Donnie said as Splinter stroke his beard. "Go call your brothers, and your friends. Tell them to come back to the lair. I am calling off the plan." He said as he started to head out of the dojo. Donnie tried to stop him, but listened what he said, and texted them.

        Minutes passed and everyone arrived but, CJ was missing. "Where is Casey?" Splinter asked as they all went over to the couches. "He got taken by a gaint rat. Into the sewers.." April replied as Raph put his arm on her shoulder. Splinter sighed. "I see. But, I am calling off this plan. It stops. Now." Splinter paused. "before Mikey and Donnie, came back. The Rat King's pierced into my mind. Saying, how he was going to turn the humans he had took into rat people."Splinter explained as Leo stood up. "That's why he needs to be stopped! He kidnapped CJ! And you took him down with ONE punch!" He said. "That time was DIFFERENT Leonardo. He grown too powerful for my mind.." Splinter replied, but paused. "I am not worried what he will do..but what he could.. force me.. to do." He finished his words as he turned away from them. "We know.. you can do this Splinter.. " April said as she stood up.
Splinter looked to his side and shook his head as he begun to walk walk to the dojo.
         "I don't care what he says, we are gonna stop this once and for all." Leo said as he went into Donnie's lab, and shortly, Raph, April, and Donnie followed. "Wait Donnie! Can,, I show you something.." Mikey said as Donnie helped him up. "I'm, considered.. and scared, where to?" He asked as Mikey pointed to the kitchen. Donnie took him to the kitchen. He then set Mikey down on a stool. "Where is it Micheal?" He asked as Mikey begin to sweat. "Just promise me... you won't get mad.." He said as Donnie crossed his arms. Mikey giggled nervously. "Just looked in the freezer.." He said as he put his hands on his face. Donnie turned to the fridge, slowly and carefully opened the door. Once he did, he saw a mutated cat. He then closed the door and looked at Mikey in pure shock. "That.. was April's cat.." He said. "Yeah.. and if you can tell..." Mikey said. "The cat.. is mutanted into an icecream that you add earlier.." Donnie said as Mikey nodded as he removed his hands off of his face.
         Donnie sighed. "It doesn't matter.. why are you telling me this?" He asked. "Well, if The Rat King tries to control Splinter. Just throw her at him." Mikey said. "But Splinter doesn't want to-- Wait, are you gonna convince him to go?" Donnie asked as Mikey nodded. "I want this nightmare to stop. For him, I don't want him to force us to hurt us.." He explained as Donnie put his hand kn his shoulder as Mikey looked at him and then hugged. Splinter was on the other side of the kitchen. As he started to head to his room. "I am sure, that he'll listen. Now, I got to go to Leo and listen in the plan. You get some rest." Donnie said then pasued as they broke the hug. "Want me to take you to your room?" He asked. "The couch, please."Mikey said as Donnie nodded. He helped Mikey get to the couch and once he did he set him down. Donnie started to head to his lab. "Be safe!" Mikey said. Donnie stopped and turned. "I will, Mikey." He said as he turned back around and went into his lab.

        As CJ was starting to wake up, he heard Irma yelling at The Rat King. "Oh, once I get out of here! I'LL KILL YOU!" Irma shouted. The Rat King to start laughing loudly. "Oh please! You humans are nothing to me! But.. once I inject you with this new serum.. you'll be part of my NEW world!" He said the started to laugh as Irma stepped back and it the back of the cage wall and then sat down. "W- w- what is going on Irma?.." CJ said as Irma looked at him. "We're subjects, we're gonna get into mutanted humans that are rats." She said as CJ started to panic a bit. Irma noticed and went over to him to calm him down. "I'll do everything I can to protect you, CJ.. you are my little brother.." She said as CJ hugged her and she hugged back.

        As Mikey saw his brothers and April leave the lair. He called for Splinter, he walked out of the dojo and went over to Mikey. "What is it my son?" He asked as he sat down next to Mikey on the couch. "Uhm... well, to start off.. my brothers and April, went to stop the the Rat King.. and uhm.." Mikey stutter as he started to sweat and he was all nervous. As Splinter put his hand on Mikey's shoulder. "I heard you and Donnie talking in the kitchen, and, I do agree with you.. I don't know what I was think about calling off this plan.. But this rage of terror must end, for all of us." Splinter said as he stood up and started to head out of the lair. "Good luck dad!" Mikey shouted as Splinter stopped. "Thank you, Michelangelo." He said and he ran out.

         As the turtles and April were in a hidding in an area where the Rat King nor the humans couldn't see them. "April you're gonna have to get the humans out of here, make sure they don't see us." Leo instructed as April nodded. Just before they were about to go, Leo felt a hand on his shoulder as he and the other turned around. "Sensei! You came!" Leo said as Splinter nodded. "It is time for the 'king' to be dethrone." He said as they nodded and started to spread out. Splinter and Leo went up in a higher ledge and far from the Rat King. As Leo crouched down and lined up his dagger up to throw at the Rat King and Splinter was crouched down behind him. Leo was about to throw his dagger at him, but Splinter grabbed his arm as Leo turned his head to see he was being controlled by the Rat King. Splinter shook his head. "No... Get out!--" Splinter try to break free, but the Rat King took control of him. "You're mine now, Splinter.. Now, KILL YOUR SONS! ONE. BY. ONE." The King was talking as Splinter twisted Leo's wrist with the dagger as closely getting to his neck.
       Donnie saw it and quickly acted fast as he grabbed the cooler. "NOT TODAY RAT KING!" He yelled as he threw the cooler and icecream kitty flew out and started to attack the Rat King scratched his face as he try to pull her off of him. Splinter was back into himself as he stepped back and pulled up Leo. "You alright?.. Sorry my son.." Splinter asked then apologize as Leo rubbed his wrist and nodded. Splinter nodded and looked at the Rat King as he icecream kitty off of his face and ran to his chair and sat down. "DESTROY THEM!!" The Rat King yelled as he went down the tunnel as Splinter ran over and jumped down and followed. As April finished pulling down the levers to the peoples cages, everyone was running out as she saw Irma waving at her and April ran up to them. "Let's get out of here quickly!" April said as Irma and CJ nodded and they started to rushed out.

         Once they hit the sewers and found a latter to get out. Some rats were following and started to climb onto CJ. CJ screamed as he tried to brush them off as April and Irma helped, it wasn't working, the rats went into CJ's mouth. CJ started to gag as he fell over onto his knees. "CJ! Shit... Here let us!--" Irma said trying to help, it was too late. The rats clawed out of CJ's stomach, and he died. Irma grew in shock, she cried, as she hugged CJ's body. Tears formed from April's eyes as she comfort her. "Come up.. we, gotta go.. we can take him my farm out if you'd like, so we could burry him.." April said trying to comfort her. As Irma took CJ's mask, and nodded at April as they both carried off the sewers.

        Hours later, they came back. Well, Leo, Donnie and Splinter. Raph stayed with April. After hearing the news. Mikey was asleep on the couch Splinter went over to Mikey and lifted him up and took him to his room. He placed Mikey on his bed and covered him up. He left the room and closed the door as he saw Donnie and Leo went into their rooms and shut their doors. As Splinter started to head to the dojo and went to his room.
