Chapter Nine

-------------------------The Box------------------------

As Donnie's spy roach gets into Shredders lair and listened to the plan that theg have with the box. "So, you did get the box? I guess Master Shredder did get you for a good reason." Karai said as she snicker. "Don't test me girl. I could kill ya if I have the chance too." Tiger Claw said as he set the box down and walked over to her looking down at her. "Enough from the both of you." Shredder said as he walked in. T.C snarled at her as she smiled at him putting her hands on her hips. "Was there any problems Tiger Claw?" Shredder ask as he sat down on his chair. "No, not at all, the plan was a success. No Promblems were involved." Tiger Claw said as he put his hands behind his back.
   
        In the shell-razor that the three turtles were in, they listened carefully to his plan of what's in the box. "Karai, did you do your part. Gifting the bag to Michelangelo?" Shredder asked and looked at Karai. "Mikey? So, that explains the "M" on the bag, but why do they need him?" Leo said then asked a question to Donnie "Shhh, I'm trying to listen!" Donnie said shutting up Leo. "Of course. He thinks it's gonna help with his leg." She chuckled. "Perfect. Tiger Claw, get that box to Baxter Stockman. Let's see what he can do when it actives." Shredder said, as Tiger Claw nodded as the foot bots grab the box and take it to Baxter Stockman. They spy roach started to head back to the Shell-razor. "Well, shit.. this is really bad, whatever substance that is that Karai gave to Mikey, could be really bad, it could control him, manipulate him, or see things that aren't real and attack us." Donnie said as he looked over the footage he got. "Well, Leo, START DRIVING!" Raph said as he flicked Leo's head and took his seat as Leo did the same and started to drive, then Raph mumbled. "I hope nothing bad happens before we get there.."
     
        Mikey started to feel sick. He started to sweat, he flipped over on his back. And he sat up and rubbed his head "Jesus... I don't think that was good for me.. I need sensei.." He said to himself as he try to stand up but fell on his knees. "I thought they were supposed to help me?.. The hell is happening?.." He grabbed one of he crutches, and started to walk out of his room and to the Dojo. "Now Apirl, I want you to try--" Splinter was cut off, hearing Mikey groan in pain. "Michelangelo?" Splinter stood up and so did Apirl, an walked over to the entrance of the Dojo, and see Mikey wipe the sweat off of him. "Hey... Sensei?... I think, I'm sick... I don't know how.." Mikey lied, "Alright my son. Please go to your room Mikey, Apirl will take you there and I'll get you an ice pack for your head." Mikey groans as Apirl helped Mikey to his room.

        Before Splinter went in the kitchen, he heard the Shell-razor pull up, and the door opened as he sees Leo, Raph, and Donnie run. "Now just wait a minute! What is happening? Why are you boys in a rush?" Splinter asked as he stopped them, as he adjusted his straw hat and walked up to them. "Well sensei! uhm... Karai gave a bag of random substance to Mikey, and the Shredder said it was like according to his plan, so Donnie here is gonna need the bag to inspect it to see what is going on with him." Leo explained completely out of breathe. "That explains why he is sick right now." Splinter said and sighed. "Hurry now. He's in his room with Apirl." He said as the turtles nodded and rushed to Mikey's room.
      

        Once Apirl set Mikey on his bed. "Apirl...? Why is your hair melting?.." Mikey asked as he was seeing things that aren't really real. "It's alright Mikey, you are just seeing things." She said as she put her hand on Mikey's forehead. "Jesus Mike, you're burning up!" Apirl said as Raph opened the door. "Hey Mikey,, How are you feeling?" Raph asked as Leo stood at the doorway crossing his arms. "Oh-- Raph?.. Yeah im great.. I think?.." Mikey asked looking at the ceiling. "Mikey, where is the bag with the random substance?" Donnie asked as he put his arm on Mikey's bed. "Ohh that?.. it's underneath my pillow.." He said as he rolled over to his side facing the wall. Donnie grabbed the bag from underneath Mikey's pillow. "Apirl, we need you to come with us, Splinter will watch over Mikey." Leo said as he stood up and so did Apirl as Raph, Leo, and Apirl walked out of the room.
         "Alright, we got the bag, it is almost empty. I'm guessing he took a lot of it, he's sick." Donnie said said as he walked over to Donnie's desk and set it down for him to inspect it. "Alright, let's hope nothing bad happens to Mikey." Donnie said as he took some out of the bag as puts in under the microscope. "Oh, dear.." Donnie said. "What Donnie? What is it?" Raph said in a panic. "It's, little worms that live in this stuff, they are mutanted worms that im pretty sure Baxter Stockman had to do something with this. I'm gonna have to see what this does to Mikey, and hopefully nothing that bad will happen. Now I need some space, so would you all be so kind and leave as I work?" Donni explained, then asked. The others agreed as they walked out of  the lab and sat down at the couch.
        Once Splinter got to Mikey's room, he opened the door, and walked in. He shook Mikey a bit, as he woke up and turned around to see from his view the Shredder. He was in shock and screamed as the others rushed in to see Mikey kicking his feet at Splinter. "Sensei! What's going on?" Leo asked "I don't know! I thought you might know! I just woke him up to give him and ice pack for his head." Splinter explains. Mikey was still freaking out as he grew tired and fell asleep. He fell over face first on his bed. As they all look at Mikey, Donnie came in. "Uh, guys, we have a BIG problem.." They all looked at each other and back at Donnie.
        "Alright so, I've looked at what is in these worms that Baxter Stockman made to give to Mikey." Donnie said. "What is in the worms Donnie?" Apirl asked. "Well, that's the thing. It only shows on thing. 'Mind Manipulation' or, 'Hallucinations.' He's seeing things that's not real. Like how he saw Splinter as Shredder." Donnie said, then Leo said. "If Mikey see Splinter as Shredder, does that mean he sees Shredder as Splinter?" Leo asked Donnie, Donnie sighed. "Sadly yes, I could make a cure but it might take a while. Like a hours, or just a day, we just need to keep Mikey here--" Donnie explained then they all heard some noises outside the lab. they all rushed out there to see Mikey running out of the lair. "Shit- Alright guys. We have to get Mikey before he gets to the Shredder. Splinter and Raph will go topside, while me and Apirl will stay in the sewers to find him. Donnie, you'll know what to do." Leo informed them as they nodded and rushed out.
