It's just my first day here but I already have a friend! Louis helped me get cleaned up as soon as we reached my apartment. I just had a few bruises on the face and chest. There's no serious need for medical assistance. When he was done tending my bruises, I lead him to the living area so that I can prepare some snacks for us.

At the moment, I am preparing assorted biscuits and tea for us to share while he's right there on the small couch doing who knows what.

When I came back, instead of seeing him settled on the couch, I saw him standing in front of my shelf and staring at my graduation photo with Niall, with a pout and a curious look. I don't know whether he's really pouting or it's just me imagining it.

"I told you, the room's still messy."

"Hey, you're here." He said, looking at my direction.

I set the food at the near table and raised my eyebrow at him, "Of course, this is my place. How about you, why are you here?" You don't need to say it. I know I'm cool. Hahahaha.

He walked toward me and punched me on the shoulder playfully. "Because someone here almost fainted in the alleyway if it wasn't for me."

I smiled at him. "Thanks for helping, by the way."

He sat back on the couch. "And oh! I remembered, you never told me your name Curly."

"Oh. Stupid." I mentally face-palmed myself for bringing someone home--someone who doesn't even know my name! Well, you can't blame me. I can't think straight after getting a serious workout session with those gothic bikers. Can you?

"I'm Harry. Harry Styles." I extend my hand to him for a formal handshake.

He took my hand and shook it. "Nice to formally meet you Harry."

"Anyway, who's that guy?' He pointed at my graduation picture.

"You're boyfriend?, He said with a smirk.

I laughed at him and said, "Hell, no. I'm damn straight. That's my best bud, Niall."

"Oh. Fine. Sorry. I hope I didn't offend you. You share this room with him?"

I shook my head. "Don't worry. It's fine. No. He's not here at all. Long story. It's just that my graduation picture's my favorite." I said it all while giving him a cup and pouring some tea into it.

"Here, help yourself Louis." I pointed at the assorted biscuits and sat on his opposite side and took a cup of tea for myself.

"So, what happened?" He looked at me and started.

I told him how I saw the kid being bullied by the bikers and how I wasn't able to take it so I carelessly rushed and let the kid run which lead to me, being beaten up instead.

He chuckled slightly and joked at my attempt to be a stupid hero. "Someone decided to help a kid out but then turned out to be as helpless as him."

"Hey you're rude!" But I actually agreed with him, yet I don't regret that I tried to help the kid. Hey, if I didn't help the kid, maybe he's the one bruised up right now. I know I can handle the bruises better than he can.

"You know I'm just kidding. Well, tell me something about yourself Harry." He smiled and put his cup of tea down. Casually, he placed his chin above his knuckles, waiting for me to speak up.

"Uhm, I'm just new here, obviously. I'm from Holmes Chapel. I just came here this morning. And I'm here to study for college. I was supposed to attend this orientation by 1:00 p.m but stupid me, I got mixed up and totally forgot about it."

Hell, it's not that I remembered it before going out for a walk. I just remembered it right at this moment. I mentally groaned at myself for being irresponsible. Maybe I'll request for a special orientation instead.

Louis interrupted me with my thoughts. "What are you going to study?"

"Ah, Visual Arts."

"Hmmm. Interesting." He hummed while nodding. He actually looked like someone who's interested with Arts.

Out of the blue, he glanced at his watch and his eyes suddenly widened.

"Shit! I almost forgot!" He got up and was suddenly rushing towards the door. He puts his shoes on while I watch him from the couch.

"I need to get going. I forgot about my appointment."

"Appointment?"

"Yes. I'm a busy guy. Nice meeting you, Harry. I had a good time chatting with you." He smiled and started to walk away.

I am about to tell him that it's nice to meet him too but the door was already slammed close and he was already out of my apartment. Way to go Harry. You're really a good entertainer!

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Nice meeting you, Louis." I whispered with a hint of slight disappointment.

I don't even know why I feel disappointed. It's weird. I'm weird.

* * *

It's been hours since Louis left and I was already done talking to the University Admin about my request for special orientation. Luckily, they approved my request, actually sympathizing and worried about what happened earlier.

I was cooking for dinner when a thought suddenly came to my mind.

Damn.

I wasn't able to get Louis' phone number. And he wasn't able to get mine.
