"Haz, have I told you that you look cute when you're all serious?"
With my eyebrows raised, I looked up at Louis who's sitting on my couch devouring another sandwich while I sit on the floor, doing an outline for my artwork. "First of all, I'm not cute. I'm hot." I shrugged as if I haven't complimented myself.
Louis fake gaped and threw his arms around him. "Oh my gosh, Haz. You're such a self-complimenting bitch."
"Oh why, thank you." I laughed at him.
"Anyway, have Gemma texted you?" Louis talked as he finished the last of his sandwich.
While doing some strokes with my pencil, I answered him without looking up. "She hasn't. She doesn't know that Mom told me. But I guess she'll be here any moment."
Yesterday, my mom called, telling me that my sister Gemma will pay me a visit today. It's supposed to be a surprise except that my mom already warned me. Louis, who was there when I was told the news, insisted that he wants to met my sister and that he'll volunteer to tour Gemma all over the city. That's why he's here right now, while I rush my requirements for my expressive arts class.
While I continue on my artwork, Louis got up to turn the radio on. He paced all over the room and I can't help but chuckle at his, well, cuteness. Don't tell him I think he's cute!
"Lou, why are you suddenly acting weird just because my sister's coming over. I thought you were gay?"
He suddenly stopped pacing all over the room. Crossing his arms, he faced me with his eyebrows raised.
"Yes I am. I love it shoved way deep in here." He playfully touched his ass cheeks while I scrunched my eyebrows.
"You're gross, Lou." We laughed at each other as another song played over the radio.
A few minutes after, there was a knock on my door, making Louis eyes widen. I laughed and told him to calm down as I went towards to door, expecting my sister to jump at me. And jump at me, she did.
There was a faint whine as Gemma hugged me tight.
"Hi Gem."
"Hazzzzzzz. I miss you baby brother."
We pulled away from the hug and that's when Gemma saw the spectator-I-call-my-friend from my couch. Louis got up and made his way towards us.
"So this is the famous Gemma." He smiled at us, Gemma looking at me with that glint on her eyes. I know that look. I've seen it enough times that I can recognize it immediately.
"Yes, I am. And you are?" Gemma held out her hand for Louis to shake.
"Louis, Harry's friend."
"Nice meeting you, Louis."
"You can call me Lou." I raised my eyebrows at Louis who just looked at me with that innocent look in his eyes. How funny that he's acting nervous a while ago, and now he's a walking ball of confidence.
W headed towards my room, Gemma suddenly jumping on my bed, complaining that the trip was long and that she's so tired. Louis and I just listened to her rants. Gemma looked up and suddenly addressed our presence, "I'm so surprised that your apartment's tidy Haz." She smiled at me with that proud look on her eyes and I just shrugged her off, as if it's not a big deal.
