Ask me anything!

Five

I'm currently on a trance, while rolling in my newly made bed. I still don't get why I was disappointed with the fact that I'm stupid enough not to ask for Louis' number. No it's not that. I just want to be friends with him. Does he want to be yours? I shook the thoughts out of my head and finally got up just to get my iPod from my messenger bag. Maybe music can help me feel better. I have to wake up early tomorrow anyway since my scheduled orientation and tour at the Arts school is by 9 in the morning.

I put my earphones on and scrolled on my playlist. I'm kinda on the mood for indie tonight so I decided to play Vampire Weekend's Obvious Bicycle. As the song started, i can't help but grin and sing along at it. Suddenly, as the next words came by, someone came into my mind.

So keep that list of who to thank in mind

And don't forget the rich ones who were kind

Oh you oughta spare your face the razor

Because no one's gonna spare the time for you

Louis. Again. I shook my head and disagreed with the song because for the first time, someone really spared his time for me. Heck. He was late at his appointment with I don't know who just because he chose to help me and carry me home. I was actually the reason.

I groaned because I was supposed to let him leave my mind palace for a while but I can't. My groan was loud enough that the bird perched on my opened window flew away. I stopped the song from playing and went on the living room instead. I turned the TV on and flipped through the shows which are currently up and playing. I ended up watching Spongebob Squarepants in the middle of the night while I hug my pillow and eat some cookies. Well, I wasn't exactly watching. I'm just staring at the yellow sponge talking to his Starfish friend. I can't even make up their words.

Sooner, I fell asleep on the couch.

I woke up earlier the next day which was good considering that I forgot to turn the TV off! Stupid Harry! Since I still have a few hours before my orientation, I went out to jog. As i stepped out of the front door of the apartment, the winter chill hit me. Woah, it's cold. But i didn't bother to go back inside to grab a sweater. Well, I'm going out for a jog so maybe I'll feel a little hotter after I sweat my body out. Maybe at this time of the morning, no drugged bikers are roaming around. I'm still shocked with yesterday's events that I can't help but look around every time I hear someone shouting or a bike coming near. 20 minutes passed and I was proven wrong with my assumption that I'll feel hotter after I sweat because I'm already freezing! I can't let my ass freeze in the middle of the road so I decided to go back at the apartment, well, after grabbing a coffee at Starbucks.

When i first entered the shop, there were already a few people but then I was stopped on my tracks as I saw a familiar man with brown feathered-hair. I can't be wrong. It's fucking Louis! He was on the line and no one's behind him so I went behind him a little too excitedly.

I pat him on the shoulder. "Louis?"

He jumped at his surprise. "Woah. Harry! I'm sorry for yesterday!"

"Huh? You don't need to be." I smiled at him.

"I should be, man. I left you just that fast because I really had an important appointment with this promoter. I'm really sorry."

"No big deal."

"Here, to make up to you, I'll pay for your Starbucks." He offered.

"Hey, there's no need for that." I hesitated.

"Just accept it."

The cashier lady looks a little bit annoyed because she's already calling Louis twice but he wasn't able to hear her. "Excuse me, Sir. Can I now have your order?"

"Oh, sorry." He blushed a little because of embarrassment. "Caramel Macchiato. How about you, Harry?"

"Uhm, I would love a cup of Hot choco?"

"Sure." He turned to the cashier and told my order. He paid for our orders and asked me to have a seat.

We took a seat as we waited for our orders. We sat opposite each other and were silent for a while. And it was an awkward silence. I decided to break it but by the time I opened my mouth, Louis was opening his as well. We laughed at each other.

"You go first." I told him.

"No, you go first." I didn't argue further knowing that if I am stubborn, this guy seems to be more stubborn than I do.

"Hmmm okay. You said you had an appointment with a promoter?" I said while I raise an eyebrow.

"Oh that. I'm actually a professional photographer and we're talking about putting up an exhibit showcasing my photos along with other international photographers."

"Wow. That's cool!" It's actually cool. "And what were you saying a while ago?"

He was about to answer my question when our orders came. He thanked the waiter and stood up.

"Already leaving?" I asked. Ooops Harry, you sound so creepy, just like a little girl crushing over someone. I mentally groaned at my unusual reaction.

"Uhm. Sorry Harry. I really want to stay for a while and hang out but I have to meet this promoter today. I'm scheduled to have a photoshoot for the exhibit. But wait.." He reached at his pocket and looked for something. His face was actually cute, as if he's focused with something that's a big deal. Did I just say he's cute? Fuck no.

What he's looking for turned out to be a ballpen. He reached for my arm and I was shocked enough not to realize what he's doing. When he finished writing something on my arms, He smiled and said goodbye.

I looked at my arm and almost fainted. He wrote his number. With his name. And a heart was beside it.
