The End Part 3

The darkness had taken over my body, but no matter how hard it fought with me, I was determined for it to never reach my heart.

My heart was my only source of hope for me to survive and get back to my friends.

It was as if I was watching a movie, a disgusting horrific movie, I could do nothing about it but sit obediently and watch.

If my willpower isn't strong enough, my heart might slip out of my possession. I had to focus.

I thought about my family,friends and most importantly, Nico. I imagined dying right now and leaving him alone, again.

He would go back to how he was before, quiet, shy and antisocial, all the things I didn't want him to be.

I thought about my mum. I realised I haven't even told her about my quest! She's going to receive a call telling her that her only daughter, Bella Trojan has died.

Percy would be upset that he lost his only sister and sibling.

I couldn't do this to them.

Suddenly, I was zapped into a white room, there was pictures of my memories around the walls.

It appeared like I was in my own mind field. Suddenly the dark mist floated out from my mouth and formed a body of a person, a darker more evil me.

I went through the ideas in my head. Obviously it'll be hard to fight with someone on your level in every way so obviously we had to use something more logical.

"What's the point of going up against me? I'm too good for you" I confidently said although my legs were shivering in fear.

"Says the girl whose surname is a computer virus" Evil Bella rolled her eyes.

Dayummm that was good. Styx how do I reply to that

"Considering we are the same person with different personalities, welcome to the virus squad! WHOOP WHOOP" I hollered

"Wrong. I'm all your fear and dark thoughts gathered up together- your biggest nightmare"

"Wait so you're like... my child?"

Schist! BELLA STAY ON TRACK.

"I guess so" She shrugged.

"You know why I pity you? You have no such thing as love." I smirked.

"Who the Hades needs love?"

"Love empowers you to do wrong and right things. Love is a power. But you don't have that power." My confidence grew by the second.

"Love can also crush you to the ground or drop you down a well"She answered back.

"That's why Love is a power, it beats you down to strengthen you for the future, you're always looking on the bad side of things but how about the good side?

I'm guessing you don't have a Nico di Angelo to always make you feel better?

I'm guessing you don't have a mother to take care of you regardless her state?

I bet you don't have a Percy Jackson to be the amazing brother that teaches you new things?

You don't have these things therefore you don't have anything. " I raised my eyebrows and taunted.

"I.. I.. I don't. " Evil Bella admitted.

I walked forward as if to give her a hug, but at the last second, I unsheathed my sword and stabbed my Fear square in the chest.

My fear crumbled into nothing.

I was suddenly zapped back into the real world. The monster stood in a corner, breathing heavily and holding its hand over its heart where blood was already seeping out.

"LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE" The monster shrieked.

I shrugged and sheathed my sword.

"I WILL GET YOU" He reached out to me and tried to grab for me, but before he could, he crumbled into nothing.

The cage disappeared and my friends slowly started to regain consciousness. I then realised my Poseidon sunglasses were atop my head, ready to be used.

"Whwhwhat happened? " Nico murmured.

I rushed over to him and gave him a bone crushing hug.

"What did I miss?" Nico furrowed his eyebrows.

"It's all over now." I explained to them what happened.

"Demigods, thank you so much for saving me from this dungeon, that monster wanted to stir up attention and when Lord Zeus appears, demand for it to become a God, it was really such a stupid idea" Eirene confessed.

We bowed in respect.

"To express my gratitude, I will send you on the way back home" Eirene smiled and snapped her fingers.

We found ourselves in a small journey bus. Our driver was a nymph, probably subject to Eirene.

"30 more minutes before we reach our destination! "

I rested my head on Nico's shoulder, I was happy to be alive. I closed my eyes as I drifted into sleep.
