A week had passed since Mew and Gulf shared the older's heat together, things between them hadn't changed at all.
The older one had been looking forward to the call that the younger one promised the day he left home after his heat, but he didn't know to his regret or relief, things hadn't changed. He had the same conversation as always with Gulf, work and video games, within him there was fear that the younger would move away from him, also a slight hope that their relationship would progress, neither of which happened.
After having spent his heat in his father's house with an alpha, he did not know how his father would react, Mew did not blame his father for wanting an alpha son, he was not angry with him either, Mew loved him with all his heart, he just felt that that feeling was not reciprocated.
To avoid awkward encounters with his father after Gulf left home, Mew had wanted to go rest in his room but when he got there he noticed that his mother and sister had cleaned the room, the windows were open, there was even air freshener in the room. In the air, the scent of him and Gulf mixed had faded.
Both women believed that they were helping Mew, he was strict with hygiene, they had thought that the reason why Mew had not cleaned was so as not to bother the younger one, but when they saw the angry and sad face on the older one, they noticed their mistake. Mew decided to leave at that moment because he didn't want to argue with anyone, plus his apartment was the best option to move now that he had so many backlogs to fulfill.
The first days were easy for Mew to bear, he was grateful to have so much work that it prevented him from thinking about the moments he had lived with Gulf during his heat, but now a week later, in which he had barely received messages from Gulf, he felt frustrated.
After having finished his work for the day, he went to his apartment to rest, but Mew had been lying down looking at the ceiling for two hours, it seemed that the fatigue had completely vanished, he decided to check his social networks, as wanjai had always tagged him in various Gulf's photographs since he had a live that day, he did not know when or how but he was already pressing the button to call next to the younger's name.
"Hello", Gulf's voice was a bit hoarse, Mew saw the time and noticed that it was already 1 in the morning, even so he was surprised since the youngest always played until dawn.
"Hello, were you asleep?"
"Who is it?", With that, the older man knew that Gulf was more asleep than awake.
"I'm Mew, sorry I thought you wouldn't be asleep yet, I'll call you tomorrow", when he said that the call was cut off by Gulf, but to Mew's surprise he received a video call request.
"You called me just to tell me that you would call me tomorrow?", asked the youngest while he frowned and kept his eyes closed. Mew watched as Gulf lay on his side, resting the phone on a pillow so he could see the screen without having to hold the phone.
"Isn't it too early for you to be sleeping?", Mew ask with a smile. That made the boy smile.
"Isn't it too late for you to be awake Phi?".
"I'm not sleepy", replied the older man, after seeing that even though Gulf had been woken up, he was in a good mood.
"I...", Gulf opened his eyes and looked at the image of Mew on the screen for a second. "I was tired".
"I'm sorry I woke you up".
"Don't be sorry Mew", upon hearing that Mew became shy, took a pillow and settled in the same way as the youngest.
"How was your day?", Mew asked.
The conversation between the two lasted until Gulf stopped answering, Mew, seeing him with his eyes closed, thought that he had already fallen asleep, he had thought about ending the video call, but he decided to sleep like that, it was as if Gulf was next to him . When he closed his eyes and was already half asleep, he thought he heard a "rest my omega".
