It was wensday,6:28pm you decided to go out with some friends for dinner and just hangout, so grab your phone from the nightstand that was next to you and text your friends if they wanted to go out for dinner. About 2 minutes later you get texts from your friends agreeing with your idea and with that being said you get up, get in the shower and get ready for the dinner party.

You grabbed the house keys and go out the door to see your friends are in the car waiting for you, so you quickly rush to the car and get in. A few minutes pass and your finally there at the place, as you hope out of the car you spot a familiar man walking, he looks your way and realize it was one of your friend's ex Larry croft, so you try and get you friends attention, but they were to see what you had wanted, you both just kind of stared at each other for a minute or longer after you were both done staring at each other for god knows however long you to where doing your thing he starts to walk up to you, you turn to your sides and see that your friends left you to go help set up the table.

Larry Pov:

I saw a friend that is of my ex right across the street and to be honest the reason why I broke up with y/n friend was because I like her after my ex told me about her and showed me a picture of y/n and I was too scared to say anything to y/n because she probably doesn't like me back, I'm her friends ex. Like that isn't a red flag as it already is but I'm finally across the street and we both say hello and how were going in life having a normal convasation then my Ex comes out of the doors and noticed that me and y/n were talking, she comes up behind y/n and says "oh hi Larry" "hey f/n" it went quite after that we all just stood there awkwardly. after a minute or so of standing there silent Larry's friends come out of now where and asked Larry who I was "oh this is my Ex's friend! y/n" said Larry I waved hello and one of them seemed to be staring at me intensely it was fine at first but he looks at me and slightly biting his, so after Larry and his friend talk they leave but before the staring one could leave he asks for my number so I give it to him and says his name is tanner.

Time skip to dinner

you sit at the table, and you feel your phone vibrate inside your pocket, so you grab it out and look at it seeing it's a message from tanner the guy you met 3 minutes ago saying, "hey hru?"
