I think I sprained my ankle....

My eyes slowly opened as I slowly exhaled. An unfamiliar pair of hazel eyes looked down at me.

The most gorgeous man I had ever seen stood before me, looking at me in confusion.

"Are you alright?" He carefully questioned.

I looked at him upside-down due to my position and awkwardly laughed, "Yup, I'm fine!". I felt my face and ears warm up as I tried to quickly get up like nothing had happened.

This is so embarrassing...

Seeing that I was having a bit of trouble getting up, he placed his hand out for me.

As he helped me stand up, I saw what seemed like small orbs appear out of nowhere and begin to twirl around our hands as they emitted a bit of a glow.

I quickly backed my hand away and saw them disappear.

Definitely need to see a doctor now.

He looked at me even more confused, "Are you Princess Kazia?"

"Okay, is Esla behind all this? Where is she?"

"Your cousin? Well, I have not seen her today."

How much are they getting paid to stay in their role so well?

Before I could question him again, I finally spotted Esla.

Her eyes widened when she saw me, "Oh no."

"What is going on?!" I crossed my arms.

The man next to me slightly narrowed his eyes, trying to figure the situation out as well.

Esla quickly turned towards him, "My apologies, Prince Donovan , she just arrived, she is a bit... disoriented."

He nodded, "I see, traveling back for the first time in a while must be draining. I shall formally introduce myself when she is better." He slightly bowed his head before leaving.

I furrowed my eyebrows as he spoke with such seriousness.

"Who even is he? And where are we Esla?! Did you go on my phone to change the date and time and you'd think I would not notice that we are in another country?! Lily is going to be so worried!"

"Um, well, I don't know how to explain," She nervously looked around me, avoiding my eyes as she stuttered.

I felt annoyed by her lack of an answer, "I am going home."

Before I could continue walking, I heard someone call my name. The voice seemed a bit familiar, but I could not quite remember.

Once I looked back, I felt all the confusion melt away as my mind went blank.

My parents stood there as I tried to vocalize all the questions that were spinning through my head at the same time. I began to feel dizzy and out of breath.

I woke up on a very soft surface. My eyes shifted around the room as I remembered what had happened.

Someone knocked on the door before entering.

The woman from the other day greeted me, "My name is Grace, I will be helping you around here. You must have a lot of questions," She paused, "I was told that you had quite the fever. Seems that you are better now, thankfully."

She continued, "Your parents wish to speak to you whenever you are ready after you eat, of course." She placed a tray with food on the bed.

I did not have an appetite.
