Third Person POV:

After breakfast, Esla waited in the living room while Kazia got ready.

Kazia's flowy dress swiveled as she hastily walked around her room making sure she had everything she needed.  Since the sleeves of her dress were elbow-length, she took a poofy coat to protect her from the chilly weather.

Before leaving, she grabbed a small messenger purse to hold her essentials.

~ In the carriage ~
Kazia sat next to Esla while Prince Donovan sat in front of Kazia and Matteo in front of Esla.

Throughout the trip, their conversation drifted between various topics. Yet, while the majority of them engaged actively, Donovan merely nodded intermittently, his attention often wandering elsewhere.

"I'm sure you're happy to finally be back." Matteo smiled.

Kazia made a tight smile, "Yes. Very."

Prince Donovan occasionally looked at Kazia in thought. His mind was going in circles with what he was told.

But Kazia, who quietly sat in the carriage, began to notice his glances. She questioned if he was actually looking at her or admiring the intricate details of the carriage, she hoped for the latter.

As curiosity got the best of her, she glanced towards him, but the moment their eyes locked, she swiftly averted her eyes, now focusing on the scenery outside.

She did not know what to do with herself. As she sat in silence, she began to feel strange about the trip. But perhaps it was just the gloomy weather that was rolling in.

After what felt like an hour to Kazia, they finally arrived.

Kazia's POV:
As soon as I stepped out of the carriage, I was struck speechless by the breathtaking beauty of the cave before us.

A large waterfall flowed next to the entrance of the enchanting cave, creating a curtain. Although the cave was quite dark, there were some lanterns that helped light the path.

There are so many different crystals here.

"Shall we go?" Prince Donovan interrupted my thoughts.

I nodded. I'm actually excited to look around.

"Alright, let's all meet up here once we are finished. This could take a while." Matteo explained.

There goes my excitement. It seems that we are the only ones here, I won't be the spotlight of gossip then. Not today at least.

We continued walking and eventually lost Esla and Matteo.

The cave had a lot of paths. I was getting worried that we wouldn't be able to get a crystal when suddenly one captured my attention. Well, it seems that it captured the prince's attention, too.

The crystal was mainly a light blue color with some streaks of white. It resembled a sunny sky with some scattered clouds.

"How pretty." I pointed out before turning away to keep looking. This could not be the one, it didn't glow like Esla told me.

"Where are you going?" He asked confused.

I turned back to him, "It's not glowing. I don't think it's this one... Do we have to hit it with pickaxe or something to take it out and make it glow?"

He sighed in frustration, "Where do you get these ideas?" He lightly pulled my arm to get closer, gesturing for me to put my hand on the crystal. "Do we need to tap it?" I asked, puzzled.

Right as we touched it, the crystal began to glow.

OH. This is so cool!

I stood mesmerized as he reached for the crystal, causing it to hover in place until he finally grabbed it.
