--What Makes Family--

by: BE✩

Yelling, that's all she was hearing, all sorts of yelling, or was it wailing? Maybe crying? Oh how does it matter? She had to grow used to the chaos, ever since she had moved out life was right away a chaos. You may think, oh like having a job, having no free-time, maybe nosy neighbours, no it's different from that, something recent. Esrots, a young adult has yet a year ago from now has moved out from her parents place, she was able to travel with her friends, get a job at a place that was simple and easy giving a well pay, living in her very own place and dreamed they can meet the perfect someone to live with and have a family of their own or even with friends she can make that they will all remain close forever. No, none of that, not even her golden toon like skin with those natural black splats and her natural female beauty could cause such a thing, not even when in distress.

Now as of how, certainly there is one reason, one that is causing all that noise. Esrots got up, stretching and yawning, wrapping herself in the robe she had nearby and went to the nose in the room over, the room a mess with toys scattered across the floor like they were thrown or dropped when another toy was seen before the process repeated with a cradle at the back of the wall where crying can be heard from there that was all so loud, Esrots going over to it to look in to see the black and white small child before her there horns still growing and there black sclera and iris red eyes shut closed with tears coming out from them crying out a cry in hunger to figure for they cannot get food themselves now. Esrots sighed, picking up the small devil like toony creature that's different but like her and cradled it to help calm the child down, that helped it relax more being in Esrots arms, Esrots speaking in a soft tone "There there now Talts, mom will get you some food, okay?" The small child known as Talts although still did cry and frowned, understood and was comforted by the warmth of their mothers arms.

Esrots held the small boy and made her way to the kitchen through the hall that has things pushed to the side and lined against the wall and past the messy living room with the larger toys that to figure Talts played with into the kitchen that has dishes needed to be cleaned or organised or even put away, but there wasn't time to for there was a child that needed his food, getting the baby food that was left in the fridge and warming it up with the microwave nearby, then began to help feed the small boy to be all well fed and not have to cry some more. Versus everyone now, everyone got to meet the people they love or get to travel and get the jobs they dream of while Esrots had nobody but this child.

This child though wasn't something she had created with another, no, she found this child, all alone in a box left out in the park on a cold rainy day when Esrots was walking back home, She remembered the cries of fear of being alone, fear of the rain and the cries for hunger or help for sleeping, when she found the child in the box they were cradled in blankets to keep them warm while found a gold necklace on them yet not stolen by any passerby's having a golden butterfly at the end with a single heart shaped jewel on each part of the wings that could be worth a lot, but what was more important to Esrots though was the child left alone. Ever since that day she had adopted the child to be her own, looking after them when nobody else will, although going through the process of trying to and having to try and deal with the questions of asking about just finding a child on the street and taking them, it was a success and maybe it could be a start to something after all.

She sighed, remembering all that of how she found such a child who has yet finished there food and did a small burp before giggling about hearing themselves burp that made Esrots smile a tired smile before putting the plate beside all the other dishes that needed to be cleaned as she went to the living room and placed Talts into the small section he has to play with all of his toys while Esrots has to attempt to do some chores now, but first, she needed some coffee. Esrots never was a coffee drinker, but ever since taking Talts under her wing, she had grown to quite often drink it, making herself a cup as she sighed and listened in hearing Talts laugh and hearing stuff be thrown, she only sighed and waited till the machine was done, this was going to be a long day for her certainly, a long day.
