"Ugh, can you believe the big day is almost here?" Mal asked mulling over the flower decorations the Brooke had ordered and sent to Evie and Cece's workshop.
"Oh, it's gonna be the royal wedding of the century," Evie told them handing a few more envelopes to Brooke so she could stamp them with the Royal seal.
Mal gets a little discouraged, "And there's so much left to do."
Brooke put the wax tablets over the flame so they could melt then stood and took Mal's hands, "Planning a royal wedding was never gonna be easy, but that's what me and Evie are here for here to help. I have the jewelry me and Jay order from Lotties Lobby coming tomorrow, Evie set up tasting next week, and then—
"My dress?" She asked hopefully.
"I'm already thinking about designs."
Mal clapped her hands together and gushed, "I'm so excited!"
"We did flowers and invitations, so that means once Brooke is finished sealing these, we're done wedding planning for the day."
Brooke sat back down and poured wax in small circles over the envelops and stamped them closed in a matter of minutes.
"There is one other thing," She looked to Brooke who nodded. The two had talked it over since she felt insanely guilty. Brooke had to reassure her that she understood, and Mal had made the right decision.
Evie put a hand to her mouth and looked completely exhausted, rightfully so they had all been up since 6 am and it was currently 7 pm and they all wanted dinner. "You're kidding, right?"
"Speeches," Mal said like it was obvious.
Evie chuckled "You and Ben are gonna have to write your own speeches."
"And the best man and the maid of honor?" She asked crossing her arms.
"They have to write their speeches, too," Evie shrugged.
"Then you should get a pen."
Evie gasped "Mal!"
"Life is a crazy trip full of laughter, tears, and everything in between, and there is only one person who has been with me through it all. You are my best friend, and you are, like, a sister to me. So, on the greatest day of my life, would you be my maid of honor?" She took her hands in hers
"Yes!" They hugged and Brooke could only smile. She was so Happy for Evie, after everything her and Mal had been through, she deserved it.
Mal pulled away, "I guess that means you've gotta make a maid of honor dress."
"Oh, I already did."
"You did?"
Evie ran behind a screen while Brooke laughed, "Oh, yeah." A moment later she came out, "What do you think?"
"That's amazing! Wait, did you know I was going to ask you?"
"No, but I've been thinking about what I'd wear to your wedding since you started dating Ben."
"You're the most extra."
"Do you really expect any less?" Brooke asked. "that's what we love about her."
Evie pulled two dresses out of the closet, "Since I have a dress, it's only fair you both have one, too."
Mal gasped and Brooke stood from her chair looking over the black dress in Evie's hand, "My wedding dress?" Mal asked.
"No, this is your wedding reception dress. Every bride needs a costume change for the party. And this is Brooke's bride's maid dress," Mal and Brooke giggled to each other. Mal and Evie shared a smile like they knew something she didn't, "You wanna try them on?"
