Chapter 6: Frey Twins

As soon as I closed the door to the dueling club I spot two familiar faces down the staircase just underneath the dueling club.

"Let's set these off in the boys' toilet"

"Nah let's do Filch's office"

"I like the way you think, brother!"

Hm Arthur and Malcomb were pretty spot on huh? I should probably try and stop this though this gives me an uneasy feeling.

"You two look like you're up to no good. What's in the box?"

"What box? I don't see no box."

Ugh. The nerve of some people.

"Clearly, I mean the box right there."

"What? This? This ain't no box. It's a collection of explosive accessories...dangerous delights..."

"In other words. None of your business"

Ouch, true but it's my school too

"Ah, well. It sounds like Filch is coming, so unless you and your not-box want detention, you may want to scram."

I guess that should help. Until Colby Frey let out a laugh and said:

"I got a better idea. Why don't you explain to Filch what you're doing with these. Later, loser!"

Wow. Pure gentlemen.

"What a pair of gits! Filch is at the Prefects bathroom cleaning up after Peeves. Again."

Now, what are these things? I think Fischer called them a "Bombtastic Bomb Box"?

Oop! Don't want to be late for charms. Better take these with me. I'll turn them in after class.

I walked into my charms classroom once again and scanned the room for my little redheaded friend which I eventually did spot via eye contact.

I smiled at him until I turned away in front of me to notice, again, those twins.

"The Frey twins? What are they doing here?"

I don't remember any Frey twins being in my charms class.

I walked up to them as they clearly were here for me.

"You told us Filch was coming. But he was nowhere near, was he?"

"That means you tricked us! And we don't like to be tricked, do we, brother?"

"We do not, Lilith!"

Oh geez..

They stared dead at me with their wands at the ready. Clearly, looking for a 1 v 2 duel which I had no problem with.

Now copying their movements, I swiftly pulled out my wand to be ready for any attack they may pull on me, however, something fell out of my pocket.

Oh right! The Bombtastic Bomb Box. I can use their own tools against them!

I placed down the box and summoned spiders in retaliation of their own spiders. I noticed my spiders movement speed had increased.

Was that the Bombtastic Bomb Box? Wow!

I used Incendio and placed it at their feet to damage their health as i used Inflatious right after to keep them there. By now only one of my spiders remained while the twins spiders' had all burnt to death. Then, I spawned a troll to protect me once I felt as I had enough energy to do so. While the twins were fighting off my troll I gathered enough energy to cast another Incendio which ultimately ended the fight in my favor!

"Ugh, these two are infuriating. But these Bombtastic Bomb Boxes are fun!"

I should probably get rid of these. I wouldn't want Flich to think they're mine.

Fischer and Colby ran out of the classroom stumbling across their own feet in the process.

I waved them goodbye with an accomplished smile on my face. Until....

"What is that you're hiding? A box of Boomtastic Bubble Blasts?!"

"Please! It's just a misunderstanding. These aren't mine!"

"I've heard that one before, haven't I? Now hand them over!"

Oh no! What do I do?!? Uhm.. uhh. I guess the only thing I can do is run!!

In a panic I darted out of the classroom, into the hallways and up and down the staircases and there I found Daniel!

"What happened?"

"Let's just say I ran into some rather explosive troubles with the caretaker.."

"Filch? Yeah, he's got it in for me, too. He's convinced I was pilfering potion ingredients from the storeroom... which I definitely was not!"

"Ah such delightful drama. Stay cool and composed, and all problems will be solved..."

Said a voice not so familiar with me? I looked to my right and found William de Cognac! A man in very medieval clothing in a painting

"A great wizard keeps his calm. Even in the most dire of circumstances."

Ooo interesting!

"Oh? If you've got any suggestions, I'm listening."

William cleared his throat and started again

"Very well. Allow me to tell you a about a duel that took place in the Ministry of Magic not so long ago."

Both Daniel and I looked exchanged looks and went back to listening to William's story which everyone in these walls has most likely heard about.

"I didn't witness it myself, of course, but I have friends hung in the Ministry who say it was most epic."

...

William de Cognac had ended up rambling about the battle against Dumbledore and Voldemort, as if both Daniel and I had never heard of the story lots of times before.

"I heard other than spells, Quidditch is also quite fun. But my personal favorite is Potions." Daniel says

"Quidditch? Is that the sport where you ride a broomstick and fly around?" I ask

"That's the one! You'll have to talk to Robyn if you're interested. Heard she's recruiting 'flying buddies' in the great hall!"

"Hmm.. sounds like fun, I'll give it a go! How about you Daniel?"

"Nah, I'm not interested in any of that stuff. You can go ahead though, I'll meet you next class Rose." Daniel says waving a goodbye while walking down the stairs

"Okay then! Bye bye!" I say waving and smiling him away
