I had exited charms class and was walking to my next class in the hallways until I saw a floating feather flying close to my face that it almost tickled, the feather fell down in-front of a familiar face. It's Cassandra Vole!
"Wow! That was impressive! You must have practiced a lot" I told her
"Not really, I'm just naturally talented" Cassandra said
"Oh wow! i wish i was that good!" I say
"Yes, well... I'm sure you'll get better. It's just a swish..." Cassandra says
"And a flick! That's right! I'll keep practicing!" I say
"If you're looking to practice, dueling club is the place to do it." She says, smirking
I heard footsteps approaching Cassandra and I so I turn to look behind me to see who's coming towards us, but before I could turn my head completely I see two figures on either side of me enter my peripheral vision. Oh it's those Slytherin twins, Fisch and Colby Frey! They stood by Cassandra's side.
"You're Lilith Roseheart, correct?" Cassandra asks
"Yep, that's me" i said
"Hm.. you're quite cheerful for a Heart."
"Oh, well my cousins here, Malcomb GreyHeart and Arthur ReinHeart, are quite intimidating and serious compared to me, aren't they?"
"Yes.." Cassandra says,
She started looking me up and down as if she was judging or analyzing me
"Hm.. anyway, you're welcome to join me if you'd like... If you're not afraid..." Cassandra says while walking away from me along with the Frey twins, presumably to the dueling club
Dueling club.. sounds like fun! I'll give it a try!
"My name is Cassandra by the way.." Cassandra says,
Hm.. she didn't think I would remember her name from sorting.
"All right. I'll give it a try!" I say
I quickly follow her to dueling club and after a short amount of time, I'm here!
I enter the dueling club and I find Cassandra so I approach her
"Nervous? You can barely keep your wand in your hand" Cassandra says, however, her tone is in a way I do not appreciate.
"I'm not nervous, let's have fun Cassandra!" I say
And before i know it I'm already on the battlefield! I sweat a bit on my forehead but smile, this is exciting!
(short chapter but i promise i'll write something longer in the next chapter, also so sorry for the long wait. I had gotten writers block. Thanks so much for being patient
