It's been months since bridgette has broken up with lucifer. At first, she missed him, but that soon faded away when she started to develop feelings for her friend, Nile. Nile was already dating a boy.
His name is Victor. He's tall and has dark skin. His hair is purple and black, and he always wears a skull bandana. He definitely wasn't the best influence on her. He's always jabbing at her for sex or to go smoke.
Nile complained about it a lot. She didn't feel comfortable with it anymore. She said she felt like all he loves is her body. But that's just how Nile is. She dates horrible people and ends up being heartbroken in the end.
Today, bridgette and Nile are going to the mall to hang out. Thankfully, Victor wasn't there. She fucking hates him, he's such a douche and hes always hitting on her. She wants to tell Nile, but she's too afraid Nile will hate her for it.
"I think boys are the problem." Bridgette said. Nile only nodded. She was too focused on comparing prices of lingere in Victoria's secret. "Do you think he would like this?" She asked, holding up a lacy purple two peice to her body.
Bridgette blushed and slowly nodded. "Yeah, it looks hot." She said. Nile smiled and put the other one back. "I'll buy this one, then." She said. Bridgette hung her head and followed Nile to the counter to pay.
"Did you find everything alright?" The cashier asked her. Nile only nodded and took her wallet out. "Oh! I have a coupon." She pulled it out and handed it to the lady behind the counter. Bridgette watched her tap things on the screen, the sound of her nails pissing her off.
Why do women get those ridiculous long nails anyway? "Your total is 69.56." She told her. Nile made a shocked face and counted out her cash. "Here." She gave her all of her money.
Bridgette turned around and watched everyone in the store. They're all couples. There was always an old guy that came around and just watched the women look through underwear. She called him a creep once, and he kinda stopped after that. It made her feel like a hero, like she saved a bunch of innocent girls from his horrible perverted gaze.
"Alright, let's go." She felt Nile nudge her shoulder. Bridgette shook her head and quickly followed after her. "Damn! I really spent all my fucking money on these purple shoe strings!" She complained. "Go return it. He doesn't need your special attention anyway." Bridgette basically said to herself.
Nile sighed and pulled up a chair at the food court. "He suggested I get something to impress him. I think he's getting tired of my old stuff." She vented to bridgette. Luckily for Nile, bridgette was always there to listen to her.
Without bridgette, she didn't know what she would do. "I'm hungry." She said. Nile was hungry, too. "Me too, maybe I can get a small salad..." She said as she thought of what to eat. "Well, there's a burger joint right behind us." Bridgette pointed to the nearly run-down fast food restaurant behind them.
Niles' eyes widened. "No! I can't gain weight, Victor would hate that!" She told her. Bridgette was concerned. "When was the last time you've eaten real food?" She asked. Niles' eyes scanned the table as she thought. "Like a week ago, my mom made curry. But im going to stop eating it because Victor doesn't like the smell." She confessed.
Bridgette buried her face in her hands. "Nile, please eat something. Stop thinking about him for once, and think about yourself." Bridgette put her hand on Niles. Nile looks up at her with a sad expression. "I can't lose him, bridgette..." She whispered.
"Yeah, and I can't lose you, Nile, you're all I have!" Bridgette cried out. A few people turned around and stared at them. Bridgettes' face went bright red, and she slumped in her seat. "I'm sorry - i just don't want you to destroy your life for some boy. I care about you, nile." She told her.
