Bob lay on his bed and squished the very last bit of his blunt into his ashtray. His bed was covered in burn holes from his previous smoking sessions. That was his 3rd blunt today, and he plans on smoking more later.
Bob closed his eyes to take a short rest, when all of a sudden he heard a tapping sound from across the room. A smile spread across his face, and he slowly got up. "Someone's hungry."
He opened up a small container of superworms and opened the latch on the small cage. "Come here, precious." He dangled the worm in front of the huge spider, and it quickly grabbed the wiggling bug.
Bob smiled and watched his dearest pet eat. The worm started to slowly stop moving as the large fangs punctured it and devoured the insect. "Good girl." Bob bent down and locked eyes with his pet as she ate.
He watched her the whole time, all until it released the remains of the worm, and started to slowly climb out of the cage. Bob's eyes widened, and he smiled wider. "Do you wanna get a kiss?" He held out his hand and let the spider crawl into his palm.
He giggled at the feeling of its tiny claws and hairs touching his hand. He gave it a small kiss and held it higher to stare at its face. "You're so adorable." He whispered.
He frowned slightly. "Why do people hate you?" He suddenly asked. The spider didn't respond, obviously. He brought his hand in near his chest. "You spiders are harmless." He basically said to himself.
Tears started to well up in his eyes as he realized how hated spiders truly are. "How dare they?" His voice cracked. He wiped away his tears with his free hand. "What if I squished their dog or something?" He cried.
His spider slowly crawled up his arm as he spoke. "I love you so much, precious. I would buy all the spiders in the world if it meant that they would be safe from everyone else."
Bob wiped his snotty nose on his shirt. "I fucking hate people, you're just as important as any other life on earth. People shouldn't fear you." He sobbed harder. The tarantula moved in closer.
"Everyone on earth is so fucking fake, so what if you're different, you deserve love too." He told her. He sat down on his bed and held his face in his hands as he sobbed. "I wanna move to Mars, just me and you." He finally said.
His tarantula crawled up his cheek and sat there, slowly moving its fangs across his cheek. Bob slowly lifted his head and turned his eyes towards the large tarantula, giving him kisses.
He smiled slightly and grabbed the spider. "I love you too, precious." He kissed her sternum and brought her back to the cage.
"I don't care if other people hate you, I love you enough to fill that hatred in their hearts."
