When Adrien's Assistant Threatens and Slaps Marinette

A/N: In this story Adrien and Marinette are married and have been since the end of high school, after dating for 4 years. Ladybug and Chat Noir exist in this story and Adrien and Marinette know each other's identities.
Hawkmoth was defeated, he never got the miraculous from Marinette at the end of Season 4. The wish wasn't made but there is a new threat out there. Adrien took over his dad's company after the defeat of Hawkmoth who was revealed to be Gabriel. Due to his dad's horrible reputation Adrien redesigned his dad's company all together; it's now called the A+M Agreste Company. Adrien focuses on the finance and planning of the company from the office, while Marinette handles the designing of clothes, shoes, and other fashion accessories along with the branding logos and banners from home as she watches and takes care of their three kids: Hugo (6), Louis (6), and Emma (3).

The sun rose from the east just like it did every morning. It's beautiful yet blinding golden rays of light blanketed and brightened the city below. The sun glowed off the Eiffel Tower that stood tall near the center of Paris. Even before the sun brought its light back to the streets of Paris after being gone for a couple of hours and having the moon in its place, the streets were full of activity in the hours of the early morning around 5:15-6:00. People were traveling to work or heading home after the late shift.

Now that it was 6:34 AM more cars, buses, trucks, vans, SUVs, and other modes of transportation were up and running so that people could get to their destinations on time.

At one house within this bustling city, it was still quiet and peaceful. That's because the children in this house didn't have to be at school until 8:15. While their parents' hours allowed them to be home with the kids longer than most parents can say. The house in question is the Agreste Mansion.

Some people may know the reputation of its previous owner, let's break it down just a smidge. The former owner of the mansion was a man by the name of Gabriel Agreste. He lived in this mansion with his wife Emilie and their son Adrien. The Agreste's were a happy family; Gabriel had his own fashion brand while Emilie stayed home with Adrien. But their happiness didn't last long, when Adrien was about 13 years old his mother got severely sick from an unknown disease that doctors had no cure for or even knew existed so sadly Emilie passed away leaving her son and husband behind. This was a tough time for both Gabriel and Adrien. They both went through and handled their grief differently,

Adrien was depressed for some time after his mother died but soon, he grew to accept the fact that she was gone and no longer with him. As long as he remembered his mother her memory would live on deep within his heart so he accepted the harsh reality and started to move forward while remembering his mother in the gorgeous light of the angel she was and will always be. Gabriel, however, took the hit worse than Adrien ever did. The loss of his wife was hard, but Gabriel couldn't accept the fact that Emilie was no longer with him or their son. But mainly because she wasn't with him...his grief was so bad that he started to neglect Adrien to focus on his work and drown in his sorrows. Or that's what Adrien thought his father was going through, but that wasn't the case.

Before any more details can be added and addressed a little background needs to be covered. Before Adrien was born Emilie, Gabriel, and their good friend/assistant Natalie went on an archaeological expedition and they found two magical objects known as Miraculous. The two Miraculous they found where a broach of a butterfly and a broach of a peacock. But the peacock miraculous was broken. Events happened after finding these miraculous and the peacock and butterfly where in the possession of Gabriel.

Now with this out of the way more details can be explained. A year after Emilie passed, Adrien moved on, but Gabriel couldn't because he refused to see the brightness with moving forward and honoring Emilie's memory. Gabriel rediscovered the miraculous and he used the butterfly, becoming a villain who will be known as Hawkmoth. He terrorized the citizens of Paris with his akumas, just to gain the most powerful miraculous out there in history. The Ladybug, miraculous of creation and the Black Cat, miraculous of destruction. The story of the fusion of these two magical pieces of jewelry has been exaggerated over the years. It has been passed down from guardian to guardian and told to each holder of the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous. But it's not as complicated to fuse the miraculous and get the Kwami of Past, Present, and Future, Gimmi.
