Curse of The Black Cat Part 1: The Curse

A/N: This story is an AU, there is magic but no Miraculous powers. Ladybug and Chat Noir do not exist. Tikki and Plagg are humans, and they are related to Adrien and Marinette. Tikki is Marinette's cousin and Plagg is Adrien's brother, Plagg and Tikki are also in a relationship. Felix is still Adrien's cousin, and he is with Kagami. Luka is still in this story, but he is not in any way interested in Marinette romantically, he is still an incredibly good friend to her, and he is in a relationship with Zoe and has been for about 3 years prior to when this story takes place. Emilie is alive and is good friends with Sabine. Gabriel is a better man and a good father to Adrien. Lila is still here, and she is still a liar, manipulator, and mean person. Everybody else is the exact same as the canon just with some adjustments. Now then let us begin with the story!

Some say that curses aren't real. Others say that they are just a myth from fairy tales told to children. But what if I told you that curses are real? That is the story I will tell; about a boy who was cursed as a child and how he found the person who would break his curse and save him from being outcasted.

But first I need to give some background information.

The Agreste family have always had a good reputation, they were never the type of people to use their reputation against others to get their way. Gabriel and his wife Emilie are very happy, they have two children. Adrien, their oldest son who is a carbon copy of Emilie with his blond hair and emerald green eyes. And Plagg, their youngest son, has black hair like his grandfather on Gabriel's side of the family, and he inherited Emilie's green eyes.

But something happened when Adrien was 6 and Plagg was 5. They were visiting Amalie; Emilie's identical twin sister and her son Felix; Adrien and Plagg's cousin. When the incident happened.

Adrien was on the couch playing Super Smash Bros. With Felix on his Xbox 360, while Plagg was using his black Nintendo 3DS to play Mario Party. "Come on!" Cried Adrien as he pressed the buttons on the controller to control his character; Link from Legend of Zelda as he went to attack Felix's character; Sonic.

"You have to try harder cous!" Said Felix in a cocky voice as he controlled Sonic and had him spin dash into Link making the character fly off the stage they were fighting on.

Adrien struggled to get Link back on the stage, but Felix ended up winning that fight. "Not again!" cried Adrien as the game over message came across the screen. "There is always next time Adrien." Said Felix, Adrien put his controller down and crossed his arms with a pout on his face.

"Did you lose again bro?" Asked Plagg, Adrien only nodded at his little brother. Then the blonde-haired boy got up and went to get a glass of water.

Emilie smiled at the kids as they played, not knowing that someone would target her oldest son for such an unknown reason.

Adrien returned to his brother and cousin, and they played a new game. As they played the game the skies started to get dark as if a storm was approaching. The lights flickered and it went dark all throughout the house. Adrien feared the dark, so he started to cry, "Mama!" He called, Emilie heard Adrien's call and went right over to him.

She sat down next to him and pulled him into her arms. "I've got you dear, your safe now." Gabriel and Amalie came over as well to figure out what was going on and why the power went out. "There wasn't a storm in the forecast." Said Amalie, "I know this is out of the ordinary." Stated Gabriel then there was a flash of purple smoke that entered the house and when the smoke settled a tall woman stood there and she was furious.

The entire family knew this woman all too well; It was Dussu. She was a witch, and she means business. She gave both Gabriel and Emilie a glare, "Long time no see." She said her voice was strict and cold.  "What do you want?" Emilie asked in fear, "You know exactly what I want." Said Dussu, "You also know exactly what your precious child did!" She continued with her voice raised in anger.
