30 minutes have passed since Chassity died, her face in the window peeking at them. Silence fell over the room except for a few frequent sobs. Some of them, such as Pluto, Trever, and Cassidy, have been talking to her dead body as if she were still alive. Mei Ying couldn't bear to look at her sister, once beautiful and kind, without throwing up or crying. Tezra was acting as Kenzie's therapist, the guilt weighing on her that she practically caused the death of her best friend. Kate, despite the commotion, was still asleep. Once her therapy session was over, Kenzie sat by the door, watching Pluto play the knife game. All of a sudden, she cut a few of her fingers off by accident. "Oops." Pluto said as she watched her fingers regenerate. Kenzie saw this and an idea popped into her head.

"Pluto!" Kenzie yelled out of the blue.
"What?" Pluto responded.
"I have an idea that involves you."
"And what's that?"
"You have to go out there."
"What?!"
"Hear me out! You're immortal. The killer can't kill you and you'll be able to get your hands on them!"

Pluto gave a "wait a damn minute" kind of face before realizing that Kenzie was right. The only way she could've been killed is if someone attacked her with her own weapon, and only Trever and Cassidy knew that. She nodded with a smile and walked towards the door before being stopped by Trever.

"You aren't going out there." He said to her.
"What? Why not?! Kenzie made a good point about me being immortal, so I can go out there and come back unscathed." She responded.
"Pluto, think about this. The killer is capable of anything. If they did that to Chassity, just think about what they could do to you."

Pluto was about to respond but Kenzie cut her off. "She'll be fine. She's experienced in combat and has an axe for a weapon." "So?! Chassity had a gun for a weapon and she still died! An axe isn't gonna do anything." "But she's IMMORTAL. Any attack the killer launches at her, she could just stand there and take it!" "This killer is capable of things beyond our comprehension! We don't even know if they're human or not!"

They spiraled off into an argument, not realizing that Pluto was creeping closer and closer to the door until she was able to open it. She slowly snuck out and slammed the door shut as hard as she could, making it known that she was leaving, no matter if anyone liked it or not. She ran up to her lover's dead body and hugged it, promising to avenge her. After a good few seconds, she sprinted off into the darkness of the woods, ignoring Trever calling out behind her.

Once she found a good place to stop running, she conjured her axe and began walking around, making lots of noise to attract the killer. Once she noticed the many bear traps on the ground, she got an idea. Since she couldn't find the killer, she'd make them come to her. And with that, she climbed up a tree and jumped down on a bear trap, the trap taking her leg off with one chomp. She screamed and hid behind a bush, allowing her leg to regenerate before she saw a figure emerging from the shadows and rushing towards the trap. This was her time to strike. She leaped out from behind the bush and swung her axe at the killer, taking two of their fingers off and earning a loud scream from them.

In a quick movement, they grabbed a dagger from their pocket and sliced Pluto's neck, the wound quickly regenerating. "Hah! Weak!" Pluto teased, sticking her tongue out.
"Of course they send you." The killer laughed, their voice was raspy yet girly. "They're the true weak ones. And you're just as weak for coming out here on behalf of them." The two engaged in combat, every swing intensifying their battle. "Do you know why they sent you?" The killer asked, swinging her dagger at her opponent.
"Uh, why?" She asked nonchalauntly as she blocked the attack with her axe.
"It's because after your tough little friend died, they knew they had no chance at survival. They'd do anything to live, even use others as ladder rungs, stepping stools. But you? Hah.. You're the whole ladder to them. They could use your immortality to get outta here with their lives and leave you behind if they had to. That's what they did with Chassity. She was the brawn and the brains of the group. That's why she went first. To get rid of me."
