Walking in the moonlight

Along with eating healthy, resting and staying happy and positive, AK made sure Shivu got her daily walk as well. He drove her to her favourite place, the beach, either early in the morning or late evening and they took a stroll. He noticed his old a Shivu returning when she people watched and commented. He was happy to see that side of her.

One evening, after a stroll, they were sitting at the wooden bench as usual. AK got up to go get her favourite icecream but Shivu stopped him. She held his hand, smiled and said, "Inniki ice cream vendaam. Inge ukkarunga. Unga kitta konjam pesanum." He patted her hand and sat down, "Sollu maa edhavudhu prachanaiya?" He looked worried. She was overwhelmed by his answer. She wasn't sure if it was her hormones or his kind eyes but tears welled up and in trembling voice, she said, "Neenga Appa aaga poreenga AK. The full moon witnessed these two beautiful souls walking away sharing one ice cream, hand in hand.
