I began following after the examiner as he led us into the tunnel. Man, this is going to be so boring I can tell already. I was hoping this exam would at least be interesting.

Are we going to run this whole phase because if so, I should have stayed at home. I decided to try and catch up with Gon and made my jog into a run. God, this is so boring."Hey! Wait up kid!" Layborio yelled at a kid with white hair. "Get off your skateboard that's cheating!"

"What? How?" The kid said as he continued to ride on his skateboard. "It's an endurance test! That's how!"

No, it isn't. Is he stupid or something? "No he isn't." Gon replied to Leponio. Thank you Gon my sweet child. "Whose side are you on Gon?" Leorio yelled at my poor child. "Well, he never said it's an endurance test. He just said to follow him."

Look at my kid with a level 500 IQ. That's a future Albert Einstein right there. The kid on the skateboard ignored Laponzio and rolled his skateboard next to Gon. "Hey, how old are you?" The kid asked Gon. I really need a name for this kid.

"Twelve years old." Gon replied to him. Man are they going to ignore me this whole time like what did I even do to them. All of a sudden, the kid flipped up on his skateboard before catching it. All I'm saying is that I can do that too it doesn't even look that hard. I'm lying I can barely walk without breaking my ankle.

"I'll run for a while." The little gremlin said. "My names Killua." Why does that name sound so familiar. It's like I've heard it before. Oh well. I don't care enough to think too hard about it. "Hi, I'm Gon!" Gon responded to him. Is this the part where I introduce myself or?

"This is Y/N!" Gon introduced me. This is why Gon is my favorite. I looked over to Killua who was looking at me with an annoyed expression on his face. Well damn motherfucker I didn't even say anything to you yet.

Well I know I'm not dealing with that shit so I'm going to go talk to my beloved Kurapika. "I'm going to go talk to Kurapika I'll talk to you two later." I said to them as I started to walk away to catch up with Kurapika.

"Hey. You're Y/N right." He said as I caught up to him. We were running up stairs now. "Yeah. What do you think about the Hunter exam so far?" I asked Kurapika while continuing to run. "It's not too hard but I'm starting to get tired of running. What do you think about it so far?"He responded as Lauren ran up to us with only his tie on. Also his shirt is now gone. Now did somebody steal his shirt because I do not want to see old man abs.

Leyponz was breathing extremely hard as he struggled to keep up with me and Kurapika. See now I thought that they wouldn't let old people in. But then again, oh well fuck them old people.

"Are you okay Leorio?" Kurapika asked Luig- Wait his name is Leorio? Oopsie. "I'm great! I've never felt any better!" Leorio answered Kurapika. Are you sure because right now you look like your about to have a heart attack and die. "If I forget how stupid I look, it's a whole lot easier to keep going."

"As long as you know you look stupid sir." I muttered a little too loud. "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME YOU DAMN BRAT?!" Leorio yelled causing everyone to look at us weirdly. I just ignored him and kept running. Actually, ignoring him would make me the bigger person. I am not the bigger person. "I'm just saying you look stupid." I said just so I could make him mad. "WHY YOU LITTLE-"

"Leorio, I have a question." Kurapika said to Leorio as I pulled out a water bottle from my bag and started to drink out of it. "What's wrong? The first phase too easy for you so you have to make it harder?" Leorio started as I kept drinking water. "Save your breath, Kurapika. You're gonna need it." Leorio finished as I put my water bottle back inside of my bookbag.

"Why do you want to become a Hunter? Is it really just about the money?" Kurapika asked Leorio anyway. Wow just disregard what he said about you saving your breath. Also why do I always end up getting left out of these conversations. "I haven't known you very long, but that's not like you."

"I mean, sure your attitude is terrible, and you aren't too bright either." Kurapika said to Leorio who is now growling for some reason. "But I know shallowness isn't among your downfalls. I've known many people whose only passion was money, and I can tell you're nothing like them." Kurapika said as he continued running. I can tell that he's smart.

"You've got it all figured out, don't you?" Leorio said as he kept running. Yeah, because of how smart he is. "The scarlet eyes." Kurapika said. Oh my god some secrets are about to be spilled right now. "That's why my clan was targeted." Kurapika said to Leorio. Okay that isn't what I expected and I really don't think I'm supposed to be here right now. Oh well though I need to know what's going to happen.

"The scarlet eyes are a special trait that only the Kurta have. When our emotions are heightened, the color of our eyes will change, taking on a shade of scarlet." He said before continuing. "In that state, the color of our eyes is considered one of the most beautiful colors in the world. And they command a hefty price on the black market." Does that mean he has them too? Of course he does. That was a dumb ass question.

I didn't really need to know that but okay. "So that's why the Phantom Troupe attacked you?" Leorio said looking back at Kurapika. "They plucked the eyes from each of my brethren's corpses. Not even one of them escaped desecration. Even now I can hear them, the anguished screams of their darkened eyes." Kurapika said. Well damn pretty lady. That's a little fucking dark don't ya think?

Damn that sounds brutal. Anyways I'm fucking hungry. Did I remember to pack food. "I swear on my life that I will capture the Phantom Troupe." Kurapika paused for a moment. "Once I do, I'll avenge my clan by taking back their eyes."

Okay well that sounds really interesting but I'm still hungry. "That's why you want to be a hunter?" Leorio asked Kurapika. Nahh he said that whole speech because he wanted a disco dance party. "Leorio you are one stupid motherfucker." I said to Leorio looking at him through the corner of my eye.

"STOP DISRESPECTING ME!"

Well damn. I'm sorry old man. Leorio and Kurapika continued to talk but at this point I zoned out completely. When do we get to eat? I will call the police on these people.Leorio then started talking about how he could have saved his old friend if he had enough money. That's not really his fault like where was the kid parents?

Just as Leorio finished talking about how he was going to become a doctor Gon and Killua ran up beside us."See you at the finish line!" Gon yelled. "Yeah catch you later old man." Killua said to Leorio as they ran by. "Hey I'm not old!"

"Can't you tell I'm a teenager just like you?!" Leorio yelled at him. WAIT WHAT? HE ISNT AN OLD MAN?! Me, Gon, Killua, AND, Kurapika looked at Leorio obviously surprised.

"HUH" Gon yelled Leorio. "No way!" Killua also yelled. "I THOUGHT YOU WERE 87!" I yelled at him. There is no way in a thousand years that man is a teenager.
