BATTLE OF THE AIRSHIP

We were now on the blimp, standing in a group in the hallway. Why are we standing here like a bunch of oompa loompas? "I will now take this opportunity to introduce myself properly to the remaining 42 applicants." The Chairman said as he stood in front of us with the weird green thing from the first phase. Just great. I've always wanted to learn about an old man who jumps down from blimps.  "I am Netero, the Chairman of the Selection Committee for this years Hunter Exam. It is a pleasure to meet all of you."

Honestly, I don't give a damn but pop off queen. Then the weird green thing began to speak. "And I'm his secretary, Beans." The green thing now known as Beans said. Ain't no way his name is actually Beans. "I had originally planned to make my appearance during the Exam's final phase, but, well seeing as how I'm already here..." Netero paused for a moment scanning his eyes across all of the applicants. Damn old man how long you going to stare at us for? "I have to admit there's nothing I love more than this feeling of tension in the air-"

"Oh hell no, you're a damn freak." I said, interrupting Netero. "Y/n those are bad words!" Gon said to me as all of the applicants, including Netero and Beans looked at us like we were crazy. "Yeah Y/n don't say bad words." Killua added in. Now everyone was looking at us like we were on a freak show "Wait so when I said a 'Bad word' I get my mouth covered but when she does it it's fine?" Leorio asked putting quotes around 'Bad word'. "Yeah, because I'm superior to you." I responded to Leorio with a roll of my eyes. 

"Anyways, I think I'll stick around for the remainder of the trip." Netero laughed kind of nervously as he looked at us. "We are scheduled to arrive at our destination tomorrow morning at 8AM exactly. You'll find dinner waiting for you in the Dining Hall." Beans said. Damn, I usually sleep until like 2PM. My sleep schedule is probably messed up. Oh well. "You're also welcome to get some rest, of course. You're free to do as you please until we contact you." Beans said, dismissing us.

"Gon and Y/n come on, let's go explore the airship." Killua said to us before walking up for us to follow him. I followed them until we were in the kitchen stealing some of the food. "Hey kids, stay out of the kitchen! Go eat in the dining hall with the others!" One of the chefs said as they threw Gon and Killua out of the kitchen. 

I hid when I heard them coming. I tried to warn them but oh well. I took a few bowls of ramen, some mochi, some sushi, tempura, some onigiri, dango, and the same meat Gon and Killua had. (Does it have a name because idk) I put them in my bookbag before sneaking back out of the kitchen. Surprisingly, Gon and Killua were waiting outside the door for me. 

"How did you not get caught?" Gon asked me curiously. "It was easy really. I heard them coming so I hid in a cabinet. I tried to warn you two but y'all weren't listening." I said with a small shrug. "It's not that cool. I noticed it too. I wanted to get caught." Killua said, obviously lying. "Yeah, whatever. Let's walk around the ship." I said to Killua before I started walking. I heard Killua let out an annoyed sigh, but he still followed along with me.

"Hey! Awesome! Gon and Y/n come look!" Killua said running up to one of the windows. I walked up to the window and looked outside. "It's like it's covered in jewels!" Gon exclaimed as he looked out the window. "It's so pretty!" I said looking out the window next to them.

"Hey, so I was wondering..." Gon started to say while he looked at Killua. "Hm?" Killua said looking at him slightly. "Your parents. Are they- I mean, where are they?" Gon asked Killua who was still looking out of the window. "They're alive probably." Killua said with a groan. Do you have family issues or something? Now I want to know what he got going on.

"What do they do?" Gon asked. For the first time in forever, I am glad I'm being ignored because now I won't look weird for asking questions. "They're assassins." Killua said bluntly. I pulled out my chunk of meat and started eating it. This is an interaction I would pay to watch.
