When I woke up the next morning I had a text from Ari. She said that her mom agreed to let her go with us to Hawaii.
I got up, brushed my teeth and went downstairs. Chris was in the living room on his phone. "Hey Nat," He says. "Hey," I reply. "Feeling any better?" he asks. "Yeah, I feel good actually I don't think I'm sick anymore. Well I still have a headache but its minor." "Atleast you're feeling better." he says. I go and sit down on the opposite side of the couch. I just sat there and closed my eyes.
About ten minutes later I hear someone walking towards the living room. I open my eyes and see Matt. "Hey kid, how ya feelin'?" he asks with his accent peeking through. "Better, just a headache." "That's good," he replies. "Ari said her mom allowed her to come with us to Hawaii." I say. "Cool," he said.
Time skip: The day they leave for Hawaii ——————————————————————
"NATALIE! GET UP WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!" I heard Nick yell as I shot up from the sudden noise. "Shit, what time is it?" I asked. "5:14, we have to be there by 5:40. And we still need to go pick up Aurora and Nathan!" Nick says raising his voice slightly. I get up grab my suitcase and head into the living room to see Matt and Chris waiting by the door. I didnt even get to get ready at all.
Me, Matt, and Chris go out to the van and wait. Nick comes outside moments later. When he climbs into the van Matt asks "Does everyone have their seatbelts on?" "Yeah," we all say. He started to drive off towards Nate's house. While we are driving Nate facetimes me. "Hey, Natalie you guys runnin' late?" he asked. "Yeah, we woke up late, sorry." I reply. "I can tell." he said smiling. "Shut up," I say laughing a bit. "I didn't have time to get ready." "I'm just messin' with ya." he said. "We are a few minutes away." I said. "Alright, I'm outside already." he said. "Okay," I said then hung up. A couple minutes later we pull up to Nate's house and he gets in the van next to me. "Hey," he said. "Hey," I replied.
We then drove off to get Ari. I facetimed her to tell her we were on our way. She said she would wait outside aswell. A few moments later we arrived at her house and she got in the van. Nate went all the way in the back, so we wouldn't be so squished. As we were driving I decided to post a picture on Instagram that I took of Matt and Chris before we left.

A few minutes later we arrived at the airport. We all got out and headed inside. We went through airport security, and we all sat down. After an hour we still hadn't heard our plane be called. We thought maybe we had missed it. A few moments later we heard it be called over the speakers. We all got up and headed over to our gate. When we got on the airplane we looked for our seats. Aurora was sitting by Nick, Matt sitting with Nate, and Me and Chris sitting by each other. Since we all had first class, we all sat near eachother.

We were all tired so since we had a 12 hour flight ahead of us, we all fell asleep. I woke up two hours later. Everyone was still asleep. I decided to just play a game on my phone. About 30 minutes later, I heard someone say my name loud enough for me to hear but not wake the others. It was Matt. "Yeah?" I say looking over past Nate. "Wanna play imessage games?" he asked. "Yeah, sure," I say smiling.
Me and Matt played for atleast 20 minutes before we got bored. We then went on TikTok and just sent eachother videos. A few minutes later Nate woke up. We all started talking to pass time, until eventually everyone was awake. Except Chris he was still sleeping.
A couple hours later I decided to watch a movie. A few minutes into the movie a flight attendant came up to us with a tray of pretzels and trail mix and asked if we wanted any. "Two bags of pretzels, please." I said. "Of course!" she said as she handed them to me. "Anything to drink?" she asks. "Two Pepsis, please." she nodded her head and headed back. A few moments later she comes back with two cups of Pepsi. "Thank you," I say as she hands them to me. I reach over and put one of the cups in Chris' cup holder, and continued my movie while the flight attendant gave everyone else their snacks.
About 30 minutes later Chris wakes up. "Natalie," he mumbles still mostly out of it, his eyes slowly fluttering shut again. "Yeah?" I ask turning to him. "Is this mine?" he asked a little clearer while hovering his hand above the cup. "Yeah, you got some pretzels too." I say throwing them at him.
He picks the pretzel bag up and sets it aside. He then took a drink of his Pepsi then fell asleep again. This kid really needs to get his sleep schedule together.
After I finished the movie I decided to just take another Nap. A while later I felt someone lightly shaking my shoulder. "Natalie," I heard someone say softly. "What?" I mumbled my eyes still shut. "We landed," as they said that I slowly opened my eyes to see Aurora.
Everyone else was getting their bags together. Except for me and Chris. Chris was also still sleeping. I got up and woke Chris up. We got our bags and all filed out of the plane. We went through airport security and got our bags. Nick then called an Uber, and we waited.
Once the Uber arrived we all got inside. "Hey kids!" the Uber driver said. He looked like he was in his early 50s and to my surprise he spoke english very well. "Hey," Chris and Nick said. "My name is Robert but you guys can call me Rob. I'm going to be your Uber Driver this evening." he said introducing himself. "I'm Nick, this is Chris, Matt, Natalie, Nate, and Aurora." Nick said pointing to all of us as he said our name. "Nice to meet you guys." Rob said. "Nice to meet you." we all said. "So, you kids on vacation? I see you are going to a hotel." "Yeah," I said.
During the drive Chris fell asleep on my shoulder while his arm wrapped around mine. I pushed him off and he layed his head on the window. A few minutes later we arrive at the hotel. "Alright kids, have fun on your vacation." Rob says as he helps us unload our bags. "Bye, thank you for the ride." Nick tells him. "Of course anytime!" he said. He was a friendly guy. We went inside and checked in.
