Soon She realized and pulled back. She wiped off her tears. Suddenly he bent down making her confused. He put off his shoes and gave it to her.
"Here. Take these" he said in a soft tone.
" But.. what will you wear? " she said while hesitating.
"I'm fine. you put on these shoes otherwise you'll catch cold" he said.
" umm but.. " she was still hesitating.
He bent down again and indicated her to move her feet to fit in the shoe. She slowly put on the shoes. She was now getting comfortable with him. his presence was not bothering her at all. but she was feeling safe with him.
ON THE OTHER HAND
Jungkook was sitting in the restaurant all alone for the past 2 hours. As she was already late 1 hour and 1 hour she took for the disasters happening to her. He was calmly waiting for her but now he felt sad that why didn't she came. Thoughts like these were running through his head
" Did she just ignored my offer? "
" She don't like me.. maybe that's why she didn't came. "
"Did I made it too obvious? "
" Did i rushed everything? "
" I should have taken her number. next time first thing I'll do is taking her number "
" was it too soon? "
"ugh!!! why didn't she came!! "
After having 3 coffee cups and 2 donuts. He gave up and left to bar to check if she was there. she was not there too. He got disappointed in himself and went home with a sad face.
BACK TO Y/N
" Don't cry. You can still meet him. let's hurry okay? " he said trying to soothe her.
" No it's too late.. And like this... " she looked at her dress
" In this condition, i can never see him" she said in a sad tone.
" I look so ugly " she again said.
" You look beautiful " He said without thinking twice.
She looked at him with her doe eyes in disbelief.
" I mean. you don't look that ugly. you just need a wash up. " he said covering up.
"Why don't you just call him or text him and tell him about what happened? " he said
"i don't have his number And he won't be waiting for me whole night. " she said again
" Okay let's go to the restaurant first and then decide what to do"
Soon they reached the restaurant. He asked her to go to the bathroom by showing her the way. While she was in bathroom. He called someone.
ON CALL
" Can you please bring me a pair of shoes which i forgot in my car? " he asked to someone on the phone
Soon a man with a decent dressing appeared and gave him the shoes. He wore the shoes and thanked him. The man bowed and left from there.
After some minutes Y/n came back.
"It is done" she said with the intention of leaving the place.
" Uhh- Aren't you hungry? " he asked while making a pout.
" Umm" she thought for a second and realized that she was really hungry but she was hesitating because she had no money.
" Food here is too good. don't deny please. Bill is on me! " he again requested
" Ahh- okay.. I'm hungry too.. " she said while smiling awkwardly.
They both sat down on a table and ordered the food.
" Tell me about yourself " he said while waiting for the food
" There's nothing much about me. " she said while smiling a little.
" Who's that guy? I'm just asking " he said but he was not sure if he said it right so he corrected himself again " I mean.. is he your friend or something?? "
" You look really interested in my relationship " she said while laughing.
" Oh no! I'm just killing time! " he said smiling awkwardly
" Actually it was not a Date it was just a dinner. i met this guy a few weeks back." she told him all about jungkook " he's my friend's friend "
" Ooo" he made an o face.
"yeah" she said.
Soon the food arrived. They both enjoyed their food. and he paid the bills. Now they were about to leave the restaurant when y/n realized that he is wearing shoes. She was confused so she asked.
" Where did you get that? " She indicated to his shoes
" Oh! These! uh - i.. i borrowed it from a worker here.! " he said while trying to cover up
" wow! workers these days wears expensive stuff" she said
" Oh yeah. i was shocked too" he said smiling ear to ear. he again said
" So ...can i drop you to your home? "
" Why? do you want to flex your expensive car? " She said in a playful manner
" Ah - No.. i don't have cars. I'm just an average man who travels through public transport and most of the time i like to walk "
he tried to explain
" Okayyy.. okay let's walk down the street " she agreed.
" i don't know why you look familiar. but you do" she said
" maybe you saw me anywhere. where do you think you saw me? " he asked while smiling
" Umm.. maybe.. last night? " she said while remembering the incident and the helmet man who saved her.
" So you think .. that helmet man is me? " he said with a shy smile.
" What? how do you... " she was shocked on his statement. " That was you? " she asked him dumbfounded
" Umm... Yeah" he said again smiling.
" What the... Holy sh*t! " she said while laughing.
On that they reached her home.
" You didn't told me your name" he said
" Ah - sorry... It's Y/n! " she said while smiling ear to ear " What's your name? " she asked
" I'll tell you next time we meet. " he said with a wide smile
" Next time? " she said with a smile but a frown
" yeah.. you are going to give my shoes and jacket back right? " he said while laughing
" oh yeah! of course! .... see you around then? " she said
" Okay! " he said " see you day after tomorrow. 6 pm. right here" he again told her
" Right here? okay! " she said in confusion but a smiley face.
