Greg's POV-

My mom said earlier that I have a new babysitter. I don't understand why I need a babysitter I'm in the 8th grade and almost 13. I should be just fine by myself.

I heard someone knocking on the door, I assume it's the new babysitter. But she's really early.

"Greg!" My mom yells from downstairs.

I got up and go downstairs and see Sweetie playing with a dog I haven't seen before and whoa, this new kid. She's hot. If that's my babysitter I'll be fine with that. So glad Rodrick isn't here.

Landon's POV-

After I knocked on the door Mrs. Heffely let's me in. Cowboy starts to play with their dog, who I learned is named Sweety.

"Greg!" Mrs. Heffely yells, Manny in her arms. This boy who's probably about twelve or thirteen starts walking down the stairs and stops mid way.

"Hello, I'm Landon I'll be your babysitter tonight." I say with a smile.

"Lamdom?" Manny asks.

"Yes Manny?"

"Mommy Lamdom is cool." He says to his mom.

"Yes she is isn't she. Alrighty now that you've met my boys that you're watching let's go over the rules. Our numbers are on the fridge. Manny needs to be in bed in thirty minutes, he has eaten but Greg has not, Greg needs to do his English homework before he can play video games, and no games after 930. We should be home by eleven." She explains.

"Okay sounds good ma'am." I say giving her a thumbs up.

"Frank! Let's go." She yells from the bottom of the stairs. Mr. Heffely comes down the stairs shortly after.

"Hello you must be the babysitter, thank you for agreeing on such short notice." He says shaking my hand.

"Of course Sir." I say with a smile.

"Sir? Maybe if this works out you can teach all my boys some manners." He jokes. They walked out the door after saying their goodbyes.

"Alrighty, so Greg how does Manny's bedtime routine go?" I ask Greg.

"I don't know. I think my mom reads to him." He shrugs.

"Okay. Manny do you want to help me make Greg dinner?" I ask.

"Yes!" He says excitingly.

"Okay any idea on what you want to eat Greg?" I ask carrying Manny to the Kitchen.

"Mom usually let's me eat junk for dinner." He says obviously trying to trick me.

"Does she really, so if I was to text her now she say okay?" I ask already knowing the answer.

"No there's no need for that, I'll just eat whatever you make." He says.

"Okay Manny let's look at what you have to eat. Potatoes, flour, pepper, salt. Hmmm, I know what to make!" I say. I looked into the freezer and saw a package of burger.

"What are you making?" Greg asks.

"Hamburger gravy and potatoes. A classic and tasty." I say putting Manny on the floor. Manny pushed a step stool close to the counter so he can help.

"Doesnt sound tasty." Greg complains.

"Well it is, just give it a try. And while I'm cooking, could you get a headstart on your homework for me please." I say with a pleading face.

"Okay fine!" He whines.

I got the potatoes started boiling, and the burger cooking. I had Manny pour the flour into the pan with the burger after it had browned. I helped Manny pour the milk into the pan, I whisked it together threw in some seasonings and by the end the potatoes where done boiling. I made them into tasty mashed potatoes. I got a spoon and gave Manny a taste test of both the potatoes and gravy.
