What happens when Landon goes to live with her mom and step dad, who just happen to be neighbors with the Heffely's? Is Landon to different, is she just like Rodrick, what happens if they are forced to hangout?
My step mom and my dad have decided to move to New Zealand where, my step moms from. I absolutely love my step mom, usually when I'm out and about I call her my mom. My biological mom and I don't get along because of my stepfather.
But I have chosen for this to be my opportunity to try to make things better with her and the step monster.
I'm going to miss my little sisters, and my older step brothers from her previous relationship. I'm the only child between my dad and bio mom. My older brothers live part time with them and their dad back in New Zealand, I think that's part of the reason they're moving back.
"Are you sure you can drive there all by yourself?" My dad asks coming into my empty room.
"Yes dad I'm sure. I love driving my truck!" I say packing up my last box.
"But you'll be going all the way to Massachusetts by your self!" My stepmom chimes in.
"Mom. I'm okay, you and dad taught me how to be tough. And I'm not alone I have my pup!" I say. My dog ran up to me and jumped on me. He's a catahola mixed with a labradoodle. [The dog above]
"Are you sure Ken is okay with Cowboy moving in as well?" My dad asks.
"Well frankly if I'm being honest. I don't care, you know I pay for everything for him and make sure he is behaving." I say.
"I know Landon but you should care." My dad says.
"Oh well. Anyways where are we eating for our last dinner together?" I say quickly changing the subject.
"Well there isn't a lot of options here in Sheridan. But we where thinking of the Rib and Chop house!" My stepmom exclaims.
"Oh yummy!" My little sister, Kenzie yells. From what used to be the living room.
"Mommy I'm hungry!" My other little sister, Lily says.
"I know, that's why we're leaving now." My stepmom says grabbing her.
We all got the last few things loaded up in my truck and in their truck.
This is my truck:

I know this is weird but I'm going to miss the smell of cow shit in the morning. It's a gross smell, but it has always been there, and moving to the suburbs in a completely different state is definitely not going to have the smell.
I'm sad that I'm leaving the family ranch, but I'm glad it's going to my older cousin. I know he's going to take care of it well.
We got to the Rib and Chop, there was a few strange looks, as we pulled in but I think that's cause we have my truck with a small moving trailer, and my dad's truck with a trailer, and a moving van. We went in and ordered our food.
"So let us know when you get there please. I know that there is a major time difference, we just want to know that you're safe." My dad says.
"I will. And have Bridger and Otto, let me know when you land. Since they are more tech savvy than you are." I joke while taking a bite of my pasta.
